I can appreciate your POV but my point is that people shouldn't automatically dismiss a drama just because it doesn't adhere to the "traditional" FLxML pairing. The Untamed, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, Hikaru no Go, and Word of Honor. All great dramas/stories that don't have a FL but are absolutely worth watching. I love a strong female character as well, but it is also worth noting that being more realistic/true to real life is not the same as being historically accurate. We all like what we like so there's nothing wrong with wanting a strong female presence or wanting romance, but a story can be amazing even without it. Isn't it better to be more open minded and judge something on its own merit rather than be biased right from the start?
