Typical drama about music with an interesting twist

Usually I find dramas with aspiring singers boring, because they often lack depth – we already know that this career journey isn’t easy and there is a lot of competition in it. “Castaway diva” brings something different though. The drama mixes music with the topics of domestic abuse and chosen family.

As it goes further, it manages to find balance between the main character’s dream and the obsession of Chae Ho and Ki Ho’s father.

I also find the actors pretty much fit for the roles, especially the young ones.
