With interesting, dynamic leads, believable relationships, and many layers of plot, this Wuxia drama finds a fascinating balance between the violence and mercy found within Jianghu.

The visual storytelling is also commendable. It is something like visual poetry, Wuxia style.

Xu Fengnian’s I’m-comprising spirit is the driving force and anchor for the entire story. This series captures it well.
