Of course I know that, but there are A LOT of changes. I still prefer the novel, which was richer in content and context.
I like both main actors and their portrayals of their roles, immersing us in their characters, and thus I will hope till the end the drama will uncover more of their deep feelings, not only a cosmetized adaptation.

Yep, but this wasn't in the novel. A lot of parts are missing that could be more meaningful; maybe this is important for the overall relationship of parents and children in China?
Not sure, due to how they were described in the first episodes.
Who knows, maybe other issues would emerge from here that will be important for how the drama is constructing the plot/script.
