if this movie was simply groundhog day combined with a natural disaster movie (including action and romance) it would’ve felt like a classic and reminiscent of american blockbusters from the 2010s. instead it’s sloppy with its simulation and ai concept and only saved by the mother and son relationship.

these companies are allergic to season 2s even when there’s more source material to adapt
the second volume of the manga is focused on them being physical so i don’t think it’ll be adapted

i’m not going to compare it with the japanese ver! it’s good drama with poor editing… music plays constantly, the sped up clips, multiple angles and cringy sound effects were too much and some scenes linger for a minute longer than they should or characters take forever to speak
