It might get better, but the start his a big fail for me. Overly dramatic moments that are not well balanced with non-funny comedy parts. Annoying or boring characters (Jeong Ho Gyun is bound to be stuck to cliché characters if it's all he can do as an actor... his character is so similar as "All the Liquors", and it's not a good point), illogical developments (we start with two guys how try to hookup, but just after they are simply good friends like they never tried to do it together), etc. Definitely too weak from the start to become a great BL. Too bad.
They need other people around. This would be really weird just th 2 of them for 8 episodes. And we larn more about…
Nobody wrote that it should be a drama with just two characters, or that secondary characters aren't needed, or that Humans are not social beings. I clearly wrote that for me too much space and time was given to secondary characters for such short episodes and drama format. Not that they should disappear. That's quite different. Episode 7 actually made up for that a little bit since then.
"Annarasumanara" was a big hit on Netflix last year and "Lovestruck in the City" was also well received in Korea…
"Not to get into a spat"... You expressed your opinion publicly, so others might reply to you if they don't think the same. Like you wrote at the end, we are all free to feel differently. And It's not because I am a big fan of him that I cannot debate intelligently. I never pretended that all his projects were master pieces and big viewership hits. However, you wrote your comment in a way that seems like you're stating facts: "because all of his post-military dramas were either majors bummers or flops". It's different to wrote, for example, "In my opinion, his post-military dramas were either majors bummers or flops." Too many people write comments with their feelings and opinions as facts, of course other people who disagree will contradict them more eagerly. I wouldn't have respond to you if your comment was clearly stating a personal opinion. But it's true that my own comment could have been phrased more nicely, sorry for that. Also, you're free to "bash" him based on your personal opinion or facts if you want, but I don't understand where it comes from that Glorious is responsible for his projects choices. Based on the many interviews he did, explaining why he choose to do his projects and play these characters, he is a grown man responsible for his choices.
Yoooo thank God that he parted ways with his agency because all of his post-military dramas were either majors…
"Annarasumanara" was a big hit on Netflix last year and "Lovestruck in the City" was also well received in Korea before, but yes, sure, keep writing the same baseless comment over and over. At some point people need to move on and not stay stuck on one drama that is almost 10 years old...
Can someone create Yoon Jun Hyeop? I have tried to create him but the administrators deny it and i don't know…
I'll try. ;) I have already created people in the past and it worked. Moreover, he has appeared in more shows recently so he deserves his profile here.
I love it. These characters are so interesting and so well portrayed by Young Kwang and Sung Kyung. But actually not just them, all the main cast. I really look forward to the next episodes.
I really hope Chang Wook will accept the offer. I have been waiting for him to play in a movie again. With his skills, he could definitely shine more as a movie actor in my opinion. Having Ji Chang Wook and Jeon Do Yeon sharing the screen would be something very nice to watch.
I like that at least it was reported they parted ways "beautifully" so won't expect any sabotage. By his recent…
Yes indeed. All we can hope now is that, wherever he goes (many actors decide to set up one-man agencies nowadays), he can keep showing is amazing actor skills in many more projects in the future. I would personally be even more happy if he takes part in more movies, and thus expand his fame to more people. He totally deserves to be a famous and recognised worldwide scale actor.
Glorious has announced today that their exclusive contract with Chang Wook has expired. We don't know yet what will happen next. He has been with them for a long time so the fact that the contract hasn't been renewed before its end probably means that he will fly to another agency. Which might be good for him. I hope so at least.
So glad for him, well deserved. I hope he will continue to shine through various roles for a long long time and show how great actor he is through more movies too, not only dramas.
Despite what some people wrote here last week, the story isn't now back to be centred on Ritsu and Masumi (or we don't have the same appreciation of this). Too much space and time for the secondary characters for me. Only two episodes left and the preview for episode 7 doesn't give me much hope for a good end (which doesn't necessarily mean them being together). Too bad, it started so good that now it's disappointing a little more every week.
After episode 5 I'm really questioning the method of this show. People are stupid, that's nothing new, and you can't expect perfect results with votes over popularity. If all popular people were really talented music industry or cinema would be different... But when you see trainees between the 10th and 30th rank, so placing pretty high, without real talent, being as a singer, raper, or dancer, just because they received good screen time and appeared either cute, handsome, funny or likeable for some people, it's really disturbing. Of course they will not debut in the final group, but still... some voters are really dumb.
