After I read one of your reviews, I checked out your page to see more. I found a series that you rated very high and I watched it.. It became my new favorites! I wanted to see if our tastes align elsewhere too and all your poorly rated BLs (at least what I read from 15 pages of your reviews, I don't think I can go through all 50 in one night lmao) that I've seen I've also disliked for the same exact reasons! You seem to rate highly a lot of my favorites as well! This review especially convinced me that we're likeminded watchers! Well you only watched one episode so how would you know if he's really clueless or not? You barely saw the surface basically

your review convinced me to give it a shot! I was worried that the BL aspect would be overly subdued, but if you say its surprisingly faithful then I'm willing to give it a chance

I'm on the second episode and had to look at the reviews to check if I was insane... honestly all your points are so valid. While I don't want to take away from the achievements of the show... i'm just not feeling how soooo unlikeable the main couple is together. I can tell they went for a BL trope-- bad ahh boss whos cold at first... but she never makes any decisions that make sense...

I’m watching The Ingenious One rn, and usually I’m so bad at recognizing actors… but I knew him right away as the OG Wu Suo Wei from CounterAttack! His acting is so much better now.
