2 love stories. Only 1 is watchable

I'm not kidding. Right after the molestation scene of that couple, I skipped every part of their scene.
This series does not at all take sexual harrasment and molestation seriously. But they are treated as plot points in this series.
The Muren's molestation is used to spark love between him and Licheng and the conflict arising out of it is used to strengthen their love and initiate sexual acts between them.
The writers didn't know that sexual harrasment and molestation can emotionally torture the victims even after it happened.
Because writers forgot Muren was even molested. We just move onto next plot point so swiftly. And the next plot is Licheng getting sexually attracted to Muren when Licheng saw Muren masturbate the whole night. Wtf.
Licheng could have waited outside the room.
I was so baffled when Muren was thinking what could have disturbed Licheng's sudden change in behaviour, this guy's first guess is their top-bottom fight but not the molestation where Licheng witnessed his best friend getting almost molested. And that fight happened before that scene. It's like writers want everyone, their audience and even their characters to completely forget such acts even happened. Oh good lord save this people.

But Muren-Licheng is the only reason I watched it all. I loved their small small banters a lot. They had somewhat pleasant and understanding relationship in the whole series.

Muren was my guilty pleasure and motivation to watch this all. So damn pretty.

Don't even get me started at the molester chieh fu.
There are no suitable strict consequences to molesters happening ever in this series.
I watched this kind and warm huingssa turn to naive man with bad judgement of character.
The mother and her action was beyond my understanding. The only person in this step brother story I could stand was the reasonable and logical father. (I still didn't watch them that better so I am not even aware and I don't want to know this characters at all)

The fujsohi plotline was just females squealing over gays. So much on stressing over boy love and yet they used 'i am not gay. I only like him'

And for their top - bottom fight. Did it not occur to anyone that Switch exists as well?

And it was pretty visible that dialogues were written by self entitled men because so many of the dialogue's especially Licheng's showed toxic masculinity and demeaning the feminity.
The writers clearly did not understand that being bottom doesn't at all means being feminine or losing masculinity.

Everyone in this drama acted well except that
Yung cheih. Damn that guy had one pissed look for when he's happy, mad ,excited, in love, upset
Muren gave so much expression even though he was called the Cold prince in drama.
I think I'm Muren biased. God who will not?

Portrayed complicated emotions better than expected

I have to say this because I did not see many viewers talking about this.
Ji woo was not bad or evil. The life he lead and people he met before meeting SeoJoon was also a part of reason why Jiwoo acted like the way he did. And same goes to Seojeeon persistent behaviour to get his BF back.

Jiwoo was introverted and quiet from his childhood. But after the scam, the way villagers must have treated his family and the sudden death of his parents must have left a huge traumatic impact on him, undoubtedly. He is not the kind of person to handle his emotions very sensibly and to consider he was young back then. Regarding his relationship with Soonyong, he did made mistakes by taking her granted many times. Because he was so closed off after his parents' death, he accepted only himself and his cooking in it. It was hard for him to let Soonyong get in, thus it ended up hurting her. And this failure in his first relationship added up to his trauma. He believed he did not deserve this love and affection.
And then SeoJoon entered his closed off world. I believe he never recieved therapy. So he was not aware he was severally depressed. He tried to keep those depressing emotions depe down, but one day they got so overwhelming he left. One of the factor that added to this event was hum not expressing himself to his BF.
He did not leave SeoJoon. But he left the miserable state he had created around him. I am sure back in his mind he wanted to leave but come back to SJ again. The terrible thing was he needed more time. Obviously a year he needed because his trauma was never treated since his teen years.
Another theory I have is he went back to his village because of his friend who was a single mother. Perhaps the village might not have been welcoming of a single mother. So he went with her so that most of the attention would be on scammer's kid rather than a single mother with no father present in picture.
He did do some good.

He pushed away SJ because he believed it is no use to be back together but still the way he treated SJ was not pleasant. And the show in no way glorified it. I could see they did not say that such behaviour is correct.

The past life of SJ also explains alot on how he reacted when he got JW's address. He came back to him time and time again because he knew JW loved and cared for him. He can give SJ the care and affection he never recieved from his parents .

I loved the female friendship which was not dependent on main leads. The way the mother cared for YooHa was adorable. There was a slight development in mother daughter relationship after YooHa attempted to hide.

I did not agree with the plot of a little kid exposing JW's past or maybe I left some part which explained it.

I loved the CEO'S character. A fun relief he was that I loved to see him on screen everytime.

Overall I loved the show. Some part were too heavy to understand for me also but i liked they showed instead of telling it.

I realised in the end the show was not just for JW or SJ, it told stories of each character involved. The story telling was in bigger extent like Sooyoung or CEO or in smaller extent like that female assistant director or newcomer actor.

Though, i did disagree with some parts but it was a good show which dares to include complicated emotions and portrayed it right.

Started slow but beautiful

Truthfully I didn't know this was a sequel. I just watched this on whim so I watched it thinking a standalone movie.
It actually started slow in story aspects but gained it momentum with both lead starting to open up.
The acting was good. I loved the little girl so much. I liked the ending. I loved that they put efforts on the character of Rena. She was cheated on and lied to. Her whole life was turned to a lie and her future she thought she'll have with her husband and daughter was burned to grounds. They tried well to portray her. I hated her when she was drunk sleep and lost her child. But then her husband had extra marital affairs too. So I hated them both equally.
But they seem to love their child do I had mixed feelings.
I liked that she didn't just gave up her daughter to her husband completely when she saw Sora's drawing of her and two leads. The husband and wife met in the middle of .
I loved the ending of them all playing with Sora.
All in well this worth the watch!

Spoiler..I opened account here to say this lmao

I recently started watching thai BL and I thought to give it a one chance and damn was I laughing at it in the end
And I was laughing at moments not intended to be laughed.
See I never knew any drama whatsoever had running time of 1 fucking minute
Damn this was full on cringe but cringe that was cute. I liked it to an extent.
But my I must tell you the confession scene is so absurdly funny...what is expected mostly in such scenes is affection and admiration and hope for future of couple. The series proved they can show affections in just one minute but they failed to show confession scene so badly. So badly I was shocked and then laughed for a hour remembering it. The other lead who was confessed to blushed, smiled and left with flowers like his crush didn't just confessed his love to him. They could have atleast held hands or hell make one guy hold hoodie of other like in some movie. That's a cute gesture as well.
but they were cute and tried to show their love story in a compact manner so it was obvious there will be no room for character introduction and development.
I would have liked if it was made in a full fledged series.

I stayed till end only for kamol

I had a love hate fun relationship with this series. It annoyed me with it's cringe or made me fall in love with its character or right out laugh in it's direction.
First thing first, i noticed a lot development in action of the actor playing Kamol. So much that he was the only one bearable to watch on scene along with the head maid, bodyguards.
The acting of few people was not worthy of the drama.

Kim's character was a modern day damsel in distress - a kind of character who is smart in his office work but annoying and dumb in difficult situations. Sorry to say but who told him to punch danai when he knew his Mafia Bf is having a talk with him. Dude they all are Mafia. It is dumb and not brave to interrupt and.punch a mafia goon. He is lucky most of the time he is the main lead.

Kamol forced Kim so many times in beginning for the relationship. I just wanted to tell at him you just not say-I will not force you- but you have to act it as well.

I was disappointed realising actor playing Kamol was not really fit for the role. But damn did he prove me wrong. He was damn right terrifying and made me beleive that he is the boss.

The villain danai was outright stupid that i do not even want to spend my time on him.
Danil was stupid as well though still bearable villain. But Kim just exposed Daniel's vulnerability to his brother while danil was still present there and kamol was there too.
If someone exposed me like that in fron of even one extra people, I will be more than annoyed and angry.

The arc of danil apologizing was farfetched for me. Many characters added could have been avoided.

And the another issue was the rushed ending of the kidnapping screen of Kim cherry and danil. The entire scene of fighting escaping blackmailing was filled with overused tropes.
Also i would have been shir scared if i was a small mafia boss and kidnapped the brother of a Russian mafia, but danai was stupid so I am.not expecting much logic from him.

Again the irritating event was how Russian mafia just appears and shoots danai and then after the shot hai bodyguards comes to him.His bodyguards are the most useless ones i have ever seen in mafia movies.

Another thing that annoyed me to core was how adamant the show was in showing bare abs of almost all male characters. How is that helpful to the plot unless you just want people to look at actors visuals rather than plot.

Another thing is I would have loved more little romantic scenes between three bodyguards and baboon and his bodyguard love interest.

Overall, it was a good show but i don't know if the jokes on show was more funny or the way characters caressed tigers like they were their cats was more funny.
