Hmm. The more I think about it the more a lot of things don't sit right with me. The episode felt disjointed like…
I think it is supposed to feel disjointed. Kawi got everything right yet somehow everyone ended up miserable except for that other guy. The changes are supposed to shock the audience. There is a lesson to be learned here which I guess goes to your second point about giving the present/past a shot and now committing to really live in it.
I kinda like the singing here. Breaks the tension and they aren’t the full songs so it doesn’t take up too much of the episode. Plus the pacing and the plot moves so fast that the singing doesn’t take anything away from the plot.
Today's episode confused me a little but maybe I missed something in an earlier episode or simply forgot when…
The few times he traveled back to the future were too short and Kawi was preoccupied first by his ability to turn back time and second, the kiss. I guess the series chose to be vague about that aspect in the first episodes since it wasn’t relevant to the plot yet. So yes it seems he has all the memory of the past 8 to 10 years.
What an episode! It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. And I guess no matter how hard Kawi tries to fix…
Pisaeng did look a little distant with Kawi. He also lied to Kawi about not having disappeared for a year. He said that he didn’t use his line account anymore and his number changed but we clearly saw Pisaeng seeing all messages sent by Kawi even the voicemail. The next episode can’t come soon enough 😫
I don't think he's happy actually. And I think you're going to get the fallout you're looking for next ep. I genuinely…
Agree. Plus this ep is in Kawi’s POV and right now he isn’t the most reliable narrator so there are definitely things that weren’t shown in this episode.
I swear if Pisaeng just let Kawi say what he wanted to say on the rooftop or if Kawi insisted on saying what he wanted to say then this future wouldn’t happen 🫠
He cut off contact from all his friends and civilization, I don’t think he is alright.
Could be but I think something happened between them and that’s why he distanced himself. This particular Kawi is an unreliable narrator with his terrible mental state and alcoholism, so we haven’t seen everything yet.
His dad did die twice on him. The second death was even more unacceptable as Kawi had the chance, the foresight…
That’s just it. He got the best care for his dad yet he still died 😭 He did everything right. He asked for help. He swallowed his pride. He mustered all of his self confidence, set aside all shyness, all feeling of unworthiness to get that help. Yet it wasn’t enough.
He said in ep 6 while convincing his dad to see the new doctor, that his dad was his only motivation. Without him there is nothing for Kawi. Ep 7 showed us the reality of that statement 😞
Another good episode, but there are something confused me. So Kawi did remember everything that happened in those…
The first times he came back were short in duration and he was shocked from being able to turn back time and the kiss so he didn’t have time to process the present. While his return now is longer and he came back to an alcoholic him too which is messing up his brain 😩
