Title My Stand-In
Oh Yeah selling his own ass to a black flag was a better option than accepting help from his friends. And then…
Ming might have hurt Joe terribly but Joe is still Joe. Joe has never been one to accept free help from others. When he accepts favors, it’s usually to get a job. He has always demonstrated that he won’t accept money but would accept a job. Dude is an orphan who only has himself to rely on. That mentality is hard to break.

Now Ming is offering him a ‘job’ so Joe is gonna ‘work’ for the money instead of accepting charity. Is Joe being absolutely stupid? Yes. But some people would give up their dignity if they could keep their pride.

Joe is being stupid but his character is consistent lol

I'm doing the second try on this one, I watched 2 first episodes. Even at the second try I still can't understand…
Most can see how toxic the characters and their relationships are. A lot of us just appreciate this kind of story. We love the drama and the mess. Plus the acting and the overall production is good. Though I get that this kind of show isn’t for everyone.

If his mom got the loan from banks, sure Joe could get some other job. He could pay the debt slowly. But unfortunately his mom got the money from loan sharks. He needs a lot of money fast if he doesn’t want his mom to get hurt.

Title My Stand-In Spoiler
To anyone who read the novel. How this ends?
Ming was given a not at all convincing redemption arc. No reader of the novel was convinced. Joe wasn’t even convinced lol

Joe basically got tired of running away so he gave the butthead Ming a second chance.

Heyy!!Those who have read the novel Can u please tell me how will ming find the identity of joe??And who is the…
There is no traditional villain in the novel. It’s just Ming and Tong. Tong being the manipulative prick who only seeks benefits for himself, and Ming the toxic red flag. Very little difference in the series so far. Plus there is a family drama at the end.

Ming is not really yet in love with Joe UNTIL he loses him. He did what he did for his beloved Tong. And what…
I’m pretty sure that Ming has realized that he loved Joe when he called Joe right before the accident. Ming was about to say he loves him before the call got cut.

Ming found out about Joe’s back around the time Ming already found out that old Joe was in new Joe’s body. The author just wanted Ming to cry more lol

It’s been awhile since I’ve read the novel but I remember that Ming in the novel prevented Joe from being in the movie out of jealousy and to ‘save face’. Tong who was about to be his brother-in -law can’t be humiliated as that would also humiliate Ming’s family and sister. Ming did promise to make Joe a star, just not in the movie with Sol.

Title My Stand-In Spoiler
- Just before he realizes Joe2 is Joe1, long after rebirth- No, he´ll get worse and worse...
He is most of the time but I’d give him a bit of credit in this instance. In the novel, the movie which had the shot of Joe’s back hid that they used a stuntman for Tong’s character. Joe’s name wasn’t even in the credits. The movie was advertised as if Tong himself did all the stunts. It’s how he became an action movie superstar.

1. Natural disaster.
2., 3., 4. No to all three. The new and old body just died at the same time. No other connection aside from that and having the same name lol

I'm not a Big fan of the fantasy and going back in time thing, is it still worth it? Does it center around on…
Not really. It’s explained and used in the show however the show doesn’t center around the topic of time traveling. It’s all about character development and love.

I guess when Kawi returned to the ‘present’ and he found his ‘present’ self getting fucked by Pisaeng,…
Kawi in the show tried to establish a distance between him and Pisaeng after the drunken kiss, if the one in the novel happens Kawi would probably leave the country lmao

I guess when Kawi returned to the ‘present’ and he found his ‘present’ self getting fucked by Pisaeng, the time traveller Kawi didn’t consent to it but the ‘present’ Kawi did consent to it. So up to you to decide if that was SA.

The only other sex in the novel was their first time and they were both consenting.

I don’t know where the poster got the second SA. There was never any drunk sex in the novel. Also, Kawi was never fearful of Pisaeng in the novel. He was too accepting of everything. I don’t think the poster read novel lol

Not my favorite. This was decent, but I never felt the chemistry between the leads. I don't care about any controversy…
More like did not watch at all.
