This could be a 10 but..

This is the first BL series that is almost my first 10/10 BL series ever. I watched more than 150 BL series so far and I still couldn't find my 10/10. I met La Pluie when it came out and I felt my connection to it. It's consistently a 10/10 from every episode until it reached the episode where the hearing loss of the main leads was suddenly cured without proper explanation. All stories have been closed and entered a new beginning at the final episode except that one plot hole. How the hell was the hearing loss cured? Was it because of the third-party? Was it because they were close to each other when it was raining?

Other than that, I love most of the things they gave to us. I love their solid characters. I like Tien's character the most. I like Tien-Lomfon relationship. I love how Tai realized his actions were the same as what her mother did when she and his ex-husband divorced. I really appreciate the detailed characters. There are no wasted characters. The OST is so good. Every time it was played as background music during an emotional scene, I got teary eyes. Well, the whole Episode 12 did make me cry.

Thank you to all who made this happen.

THIS IS MY TOP BL SO FAR. We may have different tastes but for me, this is the series that I would love to recommend to everyone.

I LOVE THIS!

The episodes are like a sandwich as a whole

The best episodes sandwiched the flavorless episodes. Everything is so good in the beginning (Eps1-3), they really tackled the office issues which I like. The episodes after them started to be less interesting so I hold this series after watching Ep8.

I reconsidered dropping it but I had a time today to binge-watch the remaining episodes so I did watch it until the end. Episode 9 was nothing special like Eps4-8. There are many side characters that were given too much airtime. Wish they would just focus on the main leads. What was done is done.

Episodes 10-12 got me surprised. Thanks to the office/work problems, I enjoyed the last three episodes. I wasn't expecting good kissing scenes but they threw me off-guard. That was pure Mukbang. LOL

Regarding the actors, I really enjoyed Man as Jeng and Bruce as Chot. Without Chot in the middle episodes, I would not hesitate to drop it. Man's acting was so on-point. I didn't like him visually at first episode but the more I saw him on the following episodes, I was hypnotized. He's so charismatic. As for Saint-Wind who acted as Jaab and Jane, I'm disappointed on their storyline. I enjoyed them during the initial episodes but they lost me somewhere in the middle up until the end. Their visuals are really exemplary but they still couldn't cover up the messy plots that were given to them. A wasted chemistry. I really love them though.

I did enjoy watching this series. It's decent but very lengthy which I'm afraid to recommend to other watchers.

The romance wasn't forcing itself; it just happened naturally.

No episodes starting from first episode did it make me bored af. Japanese BLs are really good in making this type of romance.

Yutaka and Minoru, the main characters of this series, are both self-conscious and too shy to express their inner feelings. These makes the whole story interesting and keeps me wondering how their romance will start to unfold. Flavored with Minoru's supporting brother Tane and father Koji, the series that seems pale for non-watchers turns it bright and colorful. The progress of the story is so consistently good. With Yutaka's past family-related trauma, the series brought a variety of emotions.

The romance in this series isn't grand and fairytale-like. It is very realistic, warm and blooming. It doesn't need bed scenes to say their relationship is intimate. Every little thing they do is extraordinary in my eyes.

Our Dining Table is one of the best recommendations for binge-watchers. I can guarantee it.

Edit: Every line they said in Final Episode was everything to me. This is a MUST-WATCH series.

The fantasy series ended into a reality

The final episode is what I am looking for. This fantasy series finally ended into a reality where their love wins the impossibility. Ep12 is the most solid episode of this series. No annoying background sound and no overacting scenes. It's just pure mellow scenes and the emotional OST.

Episodes 6-10 are somewhat disappointing but the series fairly brought its way back to being decent. I love the past and present Kiew's friends. Well, it ended but Baiwan couldn't still pick the right one. hahaha

I know Past-senger has a low-budget production but even a low-budget production can make a better choice of sound effects and video editing. The storyline was so good but they really picked annoying BG sounds, messy script and cut the scenes in the worst times. Am I right? Yes!\

Cooper, Baiwan-Frong-Pokpong trio, a little bit of Bamee and the OST are the stronghold of this series.

No words can explain how hurt I was when Makio was hurt.

One thing I would like to say first: Makio doesn't deserve all the bad experiences he passed through. The only mistake he did was when he didn't break up with Eiji after meeting Eiji's parents.

Back to my experience while watching this series, I really enjoyed myself being dragged emotionally by the sudden twist of plots. Who would have thought that the great relationship between Makio, Mieko and Eiji would result to an unexpected outcome? The realistic turn of events left a line that drifts apart the main characters. This series has its way to stimulate a dialogue-less scene with emotion-grabbing background music and fantastic cinematography.

A MUST-WATCH SERIES!

The last episode is the decisive factor of the overall rating.

Romantic relationship between a very old man and a single 33-year-old man is indeed a fresh idea that really interests me in watching this series. But who would've thought that there are more intriguing subplots within this series? As the series passed through its mid episode, everything suddenly becomes more emotional to the love interests of Haruta Soichi. All of my emotions are rooting for someone else. The last episode had my heart stopped beating during entire episode. I didn't even know if I will be happy, shocked or maddened. That was the longest heart-stopping moment that I experienced while watching a BL series.

This series has the most inconsistent and confusing plots that I watched in BL world (disregarding the Mystery BL dramas). I really love how this series played my emotions and mind like I was dancing on its palm.

This is an extreme catchy series. I RECOMMEND this.

Mid-final plots fly straight to heaven, left the angels at full bliss but also crying from up above.

I have mixed emotions in this series, in a more positive way. I didn't vibe it at first but it continued to grow on me. The emotional scenes from mid to final episode caught me off-guard. The throw of well-written lines of the characters gives a strong impact in me. This series didn't give too much intimate scenes which I respectfully admire. A deep connection between couple (LiMing-Heart) is more valuable than having more focused on intimate relationship. I think their plots are stronger and more interesting than Jim-Wen. I think Gemini-Fourth really carved their names on this industry. They totally nailed their roles. Jim-Wen relationship development lacks depth and there is nothing fresh to see. Their chemistry (Earth-Mix) is always that perfectly wonderful though and make their decent plots a lot better than it would be.

What deserves justice is my Khaotung-First ship. I expected something different but then I understand that they are just supporting leads. Well anyways, Khaotung (as Gaipai) singing on mic continued with that sad song (which I want to know the title) is my tearjerking moment in this series. On the other hand, First (as Alan) has the best character development in this series. The development of all characters is fairly thought and executed except Alan since he really needs the most attention in character development.

Overall, this is a recommendable series to watch. I love it.

The annoying laugh sound effect dropped this series potential.

One thing for sure: nobody likes that non-stop laugh all over the place! I almost dropped this during the first five minutes of episode 1. I still continue watching this until the end, seeing that this series has a pretty good rating.

This series started as one of the worst series ever. Roommates of Poongduck 304 and Rak Diao have similarities. They both have a very hardworking employee but an immature landlord. The only difference is RoP304 is far better than Rak Diao. Rak Diao is still good in overall aspect. The mid episodes up to the final episode reclaims its decency as a worthy series.

Although I mentioned some negative stuffs, Rak Diao still has valuable good points. The casts played a fantastic portrayal of their roles. The exaggerated acting and fantastic throw of lines cast the entertaining magic spell that let me stay until the end. We all know that this is a sitcom and the casts did not disappoint us. Although I didn't laugh even once, I still appreciate the sitcom. Also, I really like they displayed real talents (Rak singing beautifully and that boss' voice like in operas).

Their chemistry is initially messy but it gets better and more heart-skipping whenever Diao becomes speechless and acts shy. Disregarding the overplayed laugh sound effect, I would love without doubt.

This is watchable but you have to endure the early episodes in order to watch this in full.

(it has a higher rating than the suggest overall because it deserves better)

H3:MODC gang is a plus-point

This is my 5th HIStory series and this is my first time that I haven't received any emotional impact from its storyline. The length of this series is too long. LiCheng-Muren's relationship development is the main stronghold. The rest of the plots is mid and decent.

Bringing the cute couple (BoXiang-ZhiGang) in HIStory3: Make Our Days Count plus the cool gang is a very good decision. This is an interesting side plot that brought the continuation of the couple's happy and romantic relationship. I haven't also realized that one of the H3:MODC gang is the main lead in Plus & Minus. Thanks to H4:CTY for shaking my forgetful brain. The only problem is it outshined the main leads that were supposed the highlight of the ending.

Overall, this is a decent series. Without H3:MODC, this will just be an average BL series. You might hate it if you watch this without watching H3:MODC first.

Never thought I would be loving HIStory series

This was my fourth HIStory series that I've watched and I like the storylines of each series so far. Although this series didn't give a strong good impression on me, the storyline and music are still impressive. I'm puzzled from the emotions of Hunt Chang 's acting (as Sheng Zhe). He's good in everything though except in crying.

Every HIStory series has their own unique aspect that I like:
HIStory2: Crossing the Line - Sports vibe
HIStory3: Make Our Days Count - Happy and Sad vibe
HIStory3: Trapped - Action vibe

In HIStory2: Right or Wrong, the romantic relationship of the main leads is intertwined deeply with family. The feels-like-home vibe in this is really extraordinary and irreplaceable. This may be my least favorite among the 4 HIStory but I'm not regretting that I watched it.

KILIG OVERLOAD!

TRUTHFULLY, this was my very first time to feel a 100% "kilig" towards the chemistry of the main leads. Kilig? That's a Filipino word but I can't hardly say how it exactly means. But one thing for sure, you felt it too when your crush/love unexpectedly did something unusual. This is the romantic thrill that moved you to heaven. I'm really lost for words. This is all because of Zach Lu (as Zi Xuan). All of Yu Hao's action portrays my imaginary actions towards Zi Xuan's cute charms. I, myself, would easily fall to Zi Xuan's charm like Yu Hao.

......

Back to the storyline *hehehe*, one factor that lost its points to make this a 9.5 or higher, the ending isn't enough! Can there be a Season 2? Please? I was elated by the volleyball scenes. Even if there are no romantic scenes, volleyball match scenes are enough to make this series a standout. But then, we only saw one match in the entire series. Still good though.

Nevermind the acting. They did all splendidly. My review will all point back to Zach Lu's irresistible appeals.

Funny. Adorable. Youthful.

The story has clean plots. Everything is detailed. The smooth flow of the story line is wonderfully frictionless. The little funny scenes added with catchy background music effects always catch me off-guard. This is a musical classic series! Music scenes gives an MV feels to it. The series managed to pull off a lively and youthful vibe which I really like the most.

I always watch dramas and see myself in the perspective of the characters to know if the actors are really portraying their roles well. It is so nice that their dialogue and acting clearly show the emotional scenes they are aiming for. The adorable chemistry of each couple makes me feel like I'm living a teenage dream. There is no need for too much kissing scenes. Their cheesy scenes are enough to make a romantic relationship but they still give what fans deserve at the perfect moment (the ending). I'm very amazed to the scriptwriter/s, cameraman, director and all other personnels who made this possible. This is the first time I am appreciating not only the casts but also the whole team behind. The production is indeed a high quality!

Everyone should learn from the optimistic views shown all throughout the series:
1. Reaching out your dreams comes with boundless of failures. Just know that you're not fighting it all alone.
2. Giving the children a happy life should be the priority of parents. Being a support for the children fortifies their goals and ideals. Don't be the first one to crash their future.
3. Real friendship will get stronger amidst internal conflicts.
4. A good leader builds the ladder for his people's success.

Overall, this is a MUST-WATCH. This is one of the best Highschool series.

This was aired 6 years ago but this is still better than most of Thai BL's after it.

During my SOTUS day, I mentioned that the hazing plots made the series stronger. In comparison to SOTUS S, all plots (hazing, romantic relationship and work) are very commendable. The hazing in SOTUS S is much better in every aspect. Their relationship far exceeds my expectation. The work-related issues are what I like the most. In reality, the issues are quite relatable. I really appreciate the valuable lessons that they are trying to show us. Well, if you don't notice it, I saw it clearly.

Let me talk about the characters. Kong, since SOTUS, he's that kind of person whose personality is truly remarkable. He knows what he really wants. His actions are always genuine. On the other hand, Arthit always gets on my nerve. But luckily, although his actions come with regret, he's good at getting back at the right place and at the perfect time. The side characters are fairly balanced and well-thought. Just to mention, Cherry is the only gay so far in Thai BL that I find admiring and not annoying. The actor who played his role is quite good actually. I've seen him first at 2gether series. The only misstep here is Durian's nosy behavior. I don't mind John because he got his own karma. But Durian? Who's this unreasonable person that decided the Human Resource Manager to be the nosiest employee? That was such a reckless move and I hate it.

Thanks to Bonus (the red lovely Betta), I don't mind the product placements. I have lots of Bettas at home and I love how they show Bonus and make me love my Bettas more.

If you watched SOTUS, this is a must-watch.

If you haven't watched SOTUS, watch it so you can enjoy this series.

I finished it just to see Tanaka and Katori scenes.

Wouldn't it be better if the main leads were Komiya Rio (Tanaka) and Suzuke Kosuke (Katori)? They have much more appealing visuals than the real main leads. I almost dropped this at episode 2 but since this is just a short series, I finished it. Thankfully, the late half of the series gives more scenes to Tanaka and Katori.

Also, the attitude/personality of both main characters does not fit for a main role truthfully. It gives a corny romantic relationship and a lackluster storyline.

Overall, this series is.... Mehhh. Empty. No impact.

The camera angle shots look too realistic for unrealistic scenes

This series has a fantastic storyline matched with decent relationship development and great main leads' background profile. This series kinda brings back my memories while I was watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo (Korean drama in the same Law-firm setting). The only difference is that the cases in EAW have a more detailed case-to-case scenarios. What I like in Plus & Minus is that they used the cases to have a more in-depth understanding of love. Also, I was super late and surprised that Taiwan accepts same-sex marriage. I really appreciated the last episode especially when the H3:MODC main couple appeared as guests.

The only misstep in the plots is Fu Li Kung's heartbreaking decision. Like wtf??? How can you come up with that? Can't you feel his happiness at all? Other than that, I enjoyed watching this series. The good-mood soundtracks are really catchy. Also, the fake kissing scenes looked way too good that your eyes will deceive you romantically. The appeal of the main leads is average only but they have a sweet chemistry.

Very watchable. I was surprised that it has only 7.6 overall rating. Deserves a little bit higher rating. Not as solid as my top favorites but I like it a lot. It sits at the upper half of my watched BL dramas (you can check my list at my profile for reference. as of now, it's top 23 out of 88).
