Ok I want to talk about sFL and coach, because I read many bad comments about them, and I think they were good persons who did a few bad things, which are even almost understandable.
sFL: She has liked ML for a long time. She comes to the city just for him. WHen she arrives she finds out ML is going out with FL (fake) and is absolutly flawless about it. She doesnt get in between, she doesnt pursue him, not only does she not do anything against FL, she even helps her against bullies and becomes her friend. When she finds out it is a fake relationship, she is happy about it, and she is totally open with FL. She says she is so happy about it, now she can pursue ML. As time passes, she sometimes sees ML and FL being close, and she repeteadly asks FL if she really doesnt like ML. And FL always answers she doesnt, they are just friends. So sFL is always happy about it and keeps pursuing ML, and since she believes FL she confides in her and tells her her feelings Then, close to ML and FL being together, sFL finally starts being fed up with them being so close and does a few bad things. Like for example ML picked FLs favourite food for her and sFL didnt tell FL it was ML who did it. Just a few small things like that. And then ML proposes to sFL (by mistake) and she is soooo happy.... just to hear it was a mistake . Imagine how devastated she was. And then she does the "worst" thing she did, which is just not telling FL about the confession being a mistake for half a day. OMG this is the toxic sFL I read so many comments about? The poor girl just received a confession of her love and it was a mistake, and the worst she does is not explain it was a mistake to FL? Come on, poor girl.
Coach: I really dont understand what is wrong with the comments about this guy. Let me tell you, I HATE love triangles. But this is absolutly nothing. I watched this guy in the entire show with suspicious eyes because of the comments I read here, waiting for him to pursue FL or create some trouble... He does nothing of the sort in the entire show. Yes, we see in a few scenes that he fancies her, but never does ANYTHING about it. He is falwless, he is just her coach, that's it. Close to the end, he does his "bad" thing. Which is just that he secretly focuses FLs training into assisting another girl instead of into winning. And he knows he does wrong and is conflicted about it, but he made a promise to a dieing friend that he would make the other girl win a gold medal. Really, he was flawless the entire show never did any romantic aproach towards FL, helped her from episode 1 until the end and just made this bad decission because of an important promise. This is the moron coach many comments say? Come on, you made me look badly at him for the entire show thinking he would be an annoying love triangle and he was a totally good guy
Really, the show is as lighthearted as it can be. There are no bad characters, even the few that start bullying FL end up helping her and even the rivals that taunt them before the competitions, congratulate them after. And everybody shows them support, if not at the start, later. One of the most lighthearted shows ever.

I usually do a detailed romance recap based on episodes, but there arent many precise milestones here so Ill just explain it more or less:
- At the start they bicker - They start a fake relationship so ML can avoid another girl and in exchange he will help her with something else. - They start becoming very good friends (while still bickering/teasing eachother) - We see they start likeing eatchother. ML admits it to himself first. - In episode 21 ML prepares a big confession, but (ridiculously) it is dark and he confesses to sFL instead. FL already liked him and is devastated and (ridiculously again) wont even let him speak for 5 seconds to explain it. - In episode 22 ML can finally talk and explains it. He hears FL said she only liked him as a friend (she said it but didnt mean it), and ML leaves sad. - Same episode 22 FL confesses to ML and they get together. - They never fight or have any problem between them until the end.
Just finished it. I want to say quite a few things about it.
1. It is very good. Much better than I expected.
2. I am here for the romance, so I started skipping many sport and theater scenes that were not about the leads. But let me tell you, by the time they got together, even the sport part was very interesting. Even the competitions and trainings were both leads werent together were great in the second half. In the last competitions I was holding my breath. I still dont regret skipping a lot of that stuff in the beginning. If you are here for the romance I would do the same, because otherwise it may seem the romance takes ages to start.
3. The show is absolutly lighthearted. Much more than the comments here make it look. There are no vilains. Ive read terrible comments about sFL and about the coach. WTF, dont pay attention to them. They do a few minimal bad things and for the rest they are good people who also had problems which made them do a few bad decissions, but just minor things, they werent toxic at all
4. Their chemistry is amazing. ML is as good as in Forever Love, and FL is much better here than in Legally Romance (I loved that show, but FL didnt look as in love as ML). They are great togetehr even before being together, and even tho it takes them many episodes to get together, they have many sweet moments before. After getting together they are flawless to eachother and both show their love constantly, which is important for a good chemistry.
5. Dont expect many kisses. There are very few and quite small kisses. Some shows show their cuteness with good kisses, some with good hugs (a piece of your mind) and this one shows it with how they look at eachother. OMG those looks... This doesnt mean they dont hug, hold hands and sometimes kiss, I mean their best part are the looks.
I totally recommend the show, and if you just want the romance, just skip a lot of scenes at the start, it's worth it.
Yes it's good. They have a great chemistry. No break up, they have a healthy and mature relationship.
It's not completly different. All what you say is part of a mature relationship. But its not everything. If a couple cant kiss because they turn red from shame, you cant call it mature. What you describe is part of what defines a mature relationship indeed, but just part. A relationshipo can be healthy and childish at the same time.
Yes it's good. They have a great chemistry. No break up, they have a healthy and mature relationship.
wtf are you talking about. I didnt start dating with 14, because Im old now. I started with 16. But kids nowadays start with 14 or even sooner.
And you say: "You are right it's their 1st love, it's their 1st date so it should be like that." Im not saying it shouldnt be like that. Im saying it is not a mature relationship, it is a childish one. You just agreed with me, defending it is normal they behave like that. I didnt say it wasnt normal, I said it is not mature, which it isnt.

I agree. So you are right about the healthy relationship. But you cant call it mature when they behave like a 14 year old couple dating for the first time.
"It's a sports drama and not too focused on romance."Oh damn, I was about to start it and this discouraged me
No, I almost started it but stopped because I read there's an annoying triangle between episodes 13 and 18 more or less. I will still watch it since I've read many good things about it, but that part stopped me for now
"It's a sports drama and not too focused on romance."Oh damn, I was about to start it and this discouraged me
Im in episode 22, the get together. I skip most of the stuff thats not about the leads, and its good that way. They are sweet together many times before they really get together. It's just the show also shows things about his skating career, her skating career (which arent even the same so its 2 differenmt stories) the theater group of their friends.... I just skip most of that stuff. Not entirely, so I dont miss anything, but I keep pressing the right arrow to go quick over those scenes
no real love triangles but yes there is one annoying second lead but they deal with her the same episode the leads…
LOL, no real love triangles? AM I watching an alternate version? Right now the coach is pursuing her, she is drawing comics of him and now he found them and talked to her she is so happy. She is also using his gift instead of MLs one. ML knows all that and is totally let down... What do you need to call it a love triangel, to FL and sML sleep together?
Lols how is this show only have a .2 difference vs Our Blues at 8.6? Difference in real-life is by a mile! SMH.Cringey…
I havent watched either of them yet. But theres something called different tastes. I just read what Our Blues is about (after reading your comment) and altho it seems interesting and I noted it down, this one looks more to my likeing and Ill watch it first.
Just finished it. Pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but enjoyable and satisfying.Pretty lighthearted.…
I always write a romance recap to help others interested. But this time another comment far down already had a good recap, so I will just copy that one here, so it's more accessible to new watchers:
Ep 2: she is drunk, so she kisses him while recording. Ep 7: she is sick and he takes care of her. He kisses her. Ep 8 (ending) and 9: she meets with Mo BuYu and confesses her feelings for her boss. He takes out his face mask and sunglasses to show her that her boss and her idol are the same person. Of course she gets mad, so he apologizes. They confesses their feelings and start dating. First date and kiss. Ep 10&11: misunderstandings, reconciliation, kiss. Ep 19: he knows about the plot against FL. Awesome kiss! Ep 21: he takes his mask off in a press conference. Ep 22: Xie Fei and Jin Yao accept their feelings and spend the night together. Ep 23: Jin Yao is pregnant. ML proposes to FL. Ep 24: wedding and the last scene with both couples and their kids.
Just finished it. Pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but enjoyable and satisfying.
Pretty lighthearted. It only has 1 villain, who can be a bit annoying, but the trouble she makes is more work related than really being able to get between both main leads.
It starts with a love triangle, but it is a comic one. You cant be annoyed by it. Imagine Johnny Bravo trying to make moves on the girl who already likes the main character. This sML looks exactly like that, it's just comic. Besideds, he is MLs friend, always nice to them, and has his own love interest a bit later.
