One of my favorite sageuk dramas, Painter of The Wind is a rare gem that can only be appreciated by watching it carefully.

I give it a 9, because overall the story, casting, directing, and rewatch value are very good.

A story about genius crossdressing painter in Joseon era, it highlights the arts, especially paintings and makes it one of the most artistic Korean drama. Not only that, the cross-dressing story also create problems to hero's journey to find love and soulmate. This drama will taught us that love is not as simple as people think. Love is complicated question.

As a sageuk, this drama delivers compelling story with enough politics but not make it as boring as in any sageuk. The characters feel and think like human being. The villains are interesting and the leads really adorable.

There's also some comic relief injected throughout the drama. But the drama itself won't be this great without outstanding performance from Moon Geun Young as Shin Yun Bok and Park Shin Yang as Kim Hong Do. As a duo, they're really amazing and adorable.

Overall, it's a very good historical drama that not focused on politics but more on the arts, especially paintings.

It's a precious little gem that went almost unnoticed in Korea and everywhere else. The premise itself is nothing new, but how the story unfolded and how the drama executed really makes difference. It's such a pity that Full Sun up against Empress Ki and God's Gift at the time because they're already lose from day 1. Still, it was much better show than most of drama's offerings in 2014 up until now. The acting from everyone, from the two leads, Yoon Kye Sang and Han Ji Hye, down to supporting casts are great.

Many viewers would want to avoid it as it is a formulaic melodramas. But believe me, even it has ingredients of every melodrama, it's never overwhelmingly sad or too dramatic. The feel and the story may look like That Winter The Wind Blows meets Nice Guy. But I like Full Sun better. It just has the feels that won't you get in those two previous show. Yoon Kye Sang as Jung Se Ro is a delight to watch and even it's my first time watching him and Han Ji Hye, both sold me with their romance and love story. Sure, it can get better if the villain is not boring and so predictable like in every drama ever. But it can be ignored if you watch this show for something else, for instance tragic bromance or romantic love story.

Overall, Full Sun is a very good drama. The acting, story, music and rewatch value for me are very good. It's criminally underrated maybe because people are not aware of this precious gem.

I like sports, I like movies, so ofcourse movie about sports is welcomed.

I watch it twice and maybe rewatch it again whenever I want to see a particular scene. Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na are awesome as usual, their rivalry become one of the highlight of this movie.

Based on true events, this movie move my heart and soul. I can't watch this without shedding tears.
A true gem for someone who like sports!

A sageuk set in Goryeo time is rare, but this sageuk is not only set in Goryeo time but also in Yuan Dynasty, China. One of the best historical sageuk in 2013 and 2014. The story is memorable and all the cast have great acting. I really addicted to this drama, to the point I would watch it raw, watch with eng subs, then watch again to make screencaps. That's obsession level (I know). One of the reasons why I watch this drama is because Ji Chang Wook, my favorite actor that turned out to fans' favorite too. His character, Ta Hwan, is the most complex he's ever played. Ta Hwan went from timid guy to a guy with craziness and bravery. He choose to love only Seung Nyang although their love and lives facing numerous obstacles.
Another credit goes to Ha Ji Won. She acted and showed many different side of her in the character Seung Nyang. She can pull it off as cross-dressing girl and also beautiful woman that makes all the men go crazy over her. She's not the typical damsel in distress but she made choice over herself and not afraid being involved in men's world.
To add it all, it has really great cinematography, costumes, background musics and has very high rewatch value. Why? Because even when I have to rewatch the same episode twice or more, we won't get bored. The drama suffered from bad writing in the second half of the drama because you can spot gaping plot holes and illogical characters development. But still, Empress Ki, managed to engage the hearts and minds of the viewers.

It's my go to movie if I need to cry. I always cry when watching this movie. A sad encounter between 2 leads, Ryu Min and Julian/Ryu Jin. They're not related as family yet they have great understanding toward each other. Although lies and betrayal makes everything worse. As the title suggest, love is dangerous to them and they can't love each other and that's what makes this movie so sad. At first I was not sure how Moon Geun Young will portray blind heiress convincingly, but I was blown away by her performance. Simply superb acting! I really like this movie, the cinematography is very good along with brilliant acting from everyone.
