I don't know about qi min but I think he is the son of prince chang xin ( late emperor's son) also prince chang xin conspired and kill MLD's father and the previous crown Prince (his brother). I don't know if I am right about this. I am also curious to know the family tree of each and every main character.consort Shu is Princess royal's mother.

I read the novel and there were a lot of heart breaking moments 😭 I don't know how they will adapt those into the drama. 23 eps is less to cover the rest of the story. There are a lot of plot twists and even though it has more heart breaking moments it has a happy ending in novel.
