no please, she IS the worst character of the serie
IMHO, I don't care if they give her a subplot, but I really hope they don't continue to try to imply a romance between her and Xiao Se. It didn't work in the first season. They have absolutely no chemistry and they are so dissimilar in many ways. A new character or even the White Tiger would match him better.
I can only speak from my experience in the US. Sometimes women are supportive, but not always. I am an introvert, so I mostly observe, and I've been observing a long time.
I see some women that are supportive, but only within their circle of friends. I do see some women that try to be supportive of everyone, including females. But I personally have not seen women that are only supportive of other women.
Many women (like men) are trying their best to live well, and their lives may not give them the time or occasions to be supportive of other women (or men).
I have seen women who are manipulative and can be cold or cruel to other women. They act sweet to men, but when another woman appears, they criticize and demean them, many times behind their backs. I have also seen mothers who are not supportive of one or more daughters.
If you are lucky enough to be around supportive women, cherish it. But do not expect all women to be supportive, at least here in the US.
It is best to rely on yourself, and not to expect or hope that you will find someone supportive.

I'm only on episode 8, so maybe it improves. But so far Baili Dong Jun had to drink substantially to perform great sword techniques. I am so tired of him drinking a lot so many times: in contests, on horseback, etc. I am trying to be patient, but this is very irritating to me. I thought at the sword contest, it was not only rude, but also disrespectful. The other contenders are serious and sincere, but he was not.
