The red person is probably the doll.
The girl was killed by the red person so she now becomes the victim the group has to find her and the cycle continues.

I think the post credits scenes are......whosoever saves the girl take their place until another group of people find the body. So until Asuka is Re/membered by a another group of 'loners' the next MC becomes the victim, so it's a loop. The only questions I have are: when does it end? And is she now dead in the present or.....?
