this is such a silly take, these dramas are made for current audience values, not to accurately portray the values…
Drama was never made for 'current audience values' or any values for that matter. It is a work of fiction. If a drama is happening in ancient times, it is common sense to not apply current value systems to that era. And there's actually nothing wrong in what they did no matter the era. She clearly said she is sorry to 'brother Weight Jun' that she has to lie that they both planned to marry to enter the family. Her conscience is clear. There is no official marriage. There is clearly no actual contact. She also clearly said they decided to marry, not that they lived as a couple which every body in the drama knows clearly. So to even link this with 'morality' is laughable. There is absolutely nothing morally wrong here.
