You know what I’m actually glad that they gave us something even that emotional support kiss😂😂so at least we actually got to see them romantically interact…I’m with you on craving the expansion of their love line I think this is from a book so maybe they do expand it there but I don’t see myself reading it my reading list is already too long so I’ll just imagine how their future unfolds I can just imagine Jing Xichi Huan’er and Du Man Song Cong being close like their parents for a very long time I immediately Envisioned it when Du man became huan’er’s desk mate and after New Year’s Eve at the shop

I was also caught off guard after their kiss (not before I totally saw the trauma bond to kiss train coming) but they just went back to eating 😂😂😂but I just understood that it was like they were already having a hard evening with them experiencing a first patient death and they left it as “that happened” I think even though it actually seems weird that it was not addressed if we really look into both characters that actually makes sense or maybe it’s a case of postponing addressing it

It was sudden but to me it made sense because I remember when they introduced Du man early on and she was warming up to huan’er I remember thinking to myself she’s kinda perfect for Song Cong better than qiqi but I immediately dismissed that thought thinking that she’s just a very small background character but then they went to the same uni and same hospital for intern….I wish they showed some actual development though but from what we saw it’s inevitable that in the near future they end up together because they already showed that they both like each other
