To make it simple, the fathers are all part of some corruption too. They are to parade in the capital which is very embarassing as they are all court officials, they spoil their daughters and did wrong deeds in the palace and capital, LBY's punishment for them are merciful enough in my opinion.
After today's episodes, I can finally say that LBY is indeed cunning and manipulative as a soldier and a revenge driven man. He instigated the emperor to punish him to get the evidence from Marquis Yue and to let the enemy guard down. Although the emperor got his own drama and entertainment by punishing him and forcing CSS to confess is hilarious.
I never been so satisfied like this before, the scene where 5th princess and all the audience who were present when CSS's incident brought up and LBY's expressions were so satisfying, the 5th princess is so disgusting. "What's wrong of letting her die" and then the camera shifts to the empress, shes so heartbroken. Im excited for Consort Yue to become the Queen, she knows all the scheme in the palace from lowly maid to the higher up. I love that they didnt forgot Lady Luo's maid from the get go and Im really starting to hate the crown princess.
I actually got the correct previews. I say this again, LLTG is the best drama so far. The pacing, character development, plot, romance, side character, family situations, palace situations, scheming and comedy are all perfect for me. I was prepared because I knew that the empress scold 5th princess and not CSS and the punishment scene I knew its not hard to watch but rather hilarious because the king tested CSS love for LBY I was laughing the whole scene but felt touch by her confession. And their kiss!!! Ack, my heart cant take too much of their chemistry. The trailers are always misleading, good thing I didnt overthink Lby punishment last week. I find it hard to move on from todays episode I kept on repeating the first 15 minutes of eps 37 it was so amazing and around the end of it the scene where 5th princess finally got her karma and the whole episode 38 is too WANMEI hahaha. Though Im still concern about next week episodes idk how the Cheng Family got into trouble and The King detained them and CSS escape to go to LBY. I think its Marquise Yue's idea that implicated the Cheng jia. Anyway, im so satisfied and happy for todays episodes, full of love and sweet revenge and humor.

I disagree. I think most of us here thought that while descending to the mortal realm someone ambush him and remove his memories in order to stop him from investigating. And while he have no memories he locked his own robe thats what I understand from Luming. Or something happened that got his robe locked so to unlock it he needs the four artifacts. And the Lotus seed is indeed for YY to plant it in the mortal realm to not feel alone but they didnt expect YY to lose his memories so its not a bigdeal.
I dont mind if YY ends up as the Mighty, Fair and Loving Heavenly Supreme King and YD as the funny, loving, caring and smart Heavenly Supreme Queen while being a playwriter, they will renew all immortal laws and made the world peace, as demon and immortal can coexist with each other now and YM and ZL as the rulers of the four seas. How cool is that, though I dont mind if YD really wants to stay in MR as an immortal and playwriter and YY can accompany her but that would be a waste of prowess and titles since both of them are born god/goddess so I want the ending to be in Heavenly Realm. Like the one in the TMOPB they have three lives, one in Heaven, Second on Earth and third back in Heaven, I hope YD will end up becoming a powerful godess since she really deserve it
I might have forgotten something. When YD accepted and underwent her punishment from falling in love, did the supreme majesty told her to never come back in the Heavenly Realm? I mean, they all thought shes dead right?

And then, beiming went to the mortal realm to tell YY that he is a deity/god but in order to regain his memories he needs the four artifacts right? So its not related to the King. Luming was the one who told him about the artifacts to regain his memories and powers and he fake YY death because of mysterious villains. (Ahem, KING).

Jerry. He's too suspicious for me, I think he is BM himself not just a fan. The tattoo is a big hint for me. Hes a con artist to begin with.
Mayor Choi, might be a good guy after all, he just want to cut all ties with all those who uses him and want to know the real incident and I think deep inside he's starting to suspect his wife. His wife or elder could be the fourth person/accomplice in the dashcam incident. And furthermore, his wife is working at the hospital and a part of the Elder plot.
As for Miho, she's prideful and smart. I think shes in cahoots with her husband. If not, then I think she just want to clear her husbands name. On the other hand, I think that BM wants to help PCH but we still dont know yet how and why he chose PCH and at the end it will be PCH who will really become BM because the real one will just disappear or die and PCH could be the anti hero or the third rate lawyer who not protects murderers and criminals' rights.
I think maybe I will hold up my suspicions on PCH's friend. I forgot his name, an attorney helping them clear his name. Idk I may be overthibking but it could be right under our noses all this time.
