Bruh?? This is so good! For anyone who's hesitating, don't look and don't trust the ratings. Mdl these days full of jobless trolls who don't want other dramas rated higher than their fave🙄
This drama is good. Some are probably the trolls/toxic POJ shipper who downrate it and and keep on coming to ask…
Lol, why drag Esther all of sudden?? Real Esther fans only focused on watching her dramas. The ones you saw are definitely jobless trolls who just like to start fan war
So after watching Road to Success, I want to keep the energy by watching other sports drama Hikaru no Go, and lowkey I want to see Yu Shu Xin and Hu Xian Xu act together in an action or sci-fi drama. Both of them have acting vibe like they straight out of a book
I think our star Xinxin really lacks genuine fans. If that weren't the case, then why are the ratings still so…
Nah, if your definition of being loyal is spamming multiple accounts to ratings on MDL, I think that's ridiculous. Why waste time and money on that? For me, just rating it with my main account is enough, and then I can focus my time and money on buying and trying out the products featured in the drama. That's why the character Lin Wanxing is currently said to be carrying almost half of China's economy right now 😚
I saw a video of him circulating online wherein a Nigerian auntie was talking and complimenting him at the airport…
but based on the fancams posted by his fans, even after he got more popular in RTS, he rarely smiles and seems uncomfortable being recorded. He mostly smiles only when it's for work. Outside of that, he is a bit distant
Okay... I dropped it again for the third time. I just can't get past the female lead's voice. No hate to her personally—it's…
All Chinese dramas use dub to ensure the audio sounds clear. FL (Esther yu), always dubs with her own voice, she even holds a professional dubbing certificate.
Her mature voice in Road to Success and her cute voice in Love Between Fairy and Devil prove she has a versatile vocal range. Besides, the cute voice perfectly fits her character as Orchid, an innocent and sweet little fairy. If you watch anime or cartoons about fairies, you will definitely notice the voice actors for innocent and sweet characters always use a similarly cute tone. Therefore, Esther's voice in Love Between Fairy and Devil can be considered a cartoonish voice.
fyi, during the year they filmed and released it, animated series like anime and donghua were popular. And sure enough, when Love Between Fairy and Devil release, it successfully attracted fans of animated series
Do you really expect an innocent and sweet character to have a sexy voice like a cunning fox? Or a deep voice like a female general? What a weird statement. If you want to drop it, just drop it. Why bother to announce it? Need attention?
Finished 32 episodes. Such a great drama and full of life lessons!
Usually, after finishing a drama, I would just say "finally done" while reviewing alone about the lessons from the show. But when episode 32 ended, I unconsciously said "What? It's over? So fast!" Even when trying to review the lessons, there were simply too many to process alone. I feel like I need to rewatch it with the cast to reminisce about the healing comfort I felt while watching it.
Honestly, I wish I could have watched this drama in high school, a time when I had high spirits but felt confused about what to do. If I had watched this drama back then, it would become a memorable lifelong memory to encourage me whenever I think about it.
But well, even if I watched it in high school, my mind wasn't mature enough back then. I'm sure I would only focus on the handsome actors and feel a bit jealous of Esther Yu for getting act alongside them (this is exactly what Esther's jealous haters feel) 😂
So, I do not regret watching it now with a more mature mindset. Growing older helps me understand the adult characters of Lin Wangxin and Wangfa, who might seem passive when dealing with the boys of the Hongjin High School team. They wanted to give the members enough space to voice their opinions and let out their emotions, especially in a team of 11 boys. Teenage boys tend to be hot-blooded and a bit egoist. If those two interfered too much, it could make the boys feel restricted or judged, which might end badly for the team.
In my own youth, I also sometimes felt uncomfortable when parents or adults interfered too much, it makes you feel restricted and judged, which ends up making you feel lost and unsure of how to live your life.
Because of that, watching rts felt like remembering my past self and giving me a comfortable, healing feeling. I think this has become my comfort drama. I will rewatching it often whenever I feel down so I can cheer myself up again
Suspension of belief is too much for me to enjoy this drama. Why is a teacher responsible for the cost of the…
It's just a drama, why so serious lol. Just enjoy it. Does a drama really have to explain in detail the total expenses or income of a teacher's life?? If that's the case, you should just watch a vlog about the reality of a teacher's life, why even watch a drama? Dramas only focus on the plot that builds the story. When watching a drama, it's better to empty your mind so you can enjoy it and forget about the exhausting real life :)
If mdl users say a cdrama is "too slow" it means I need to put it on my watchlist bc the cdrama community…
Yes! As a kdrama fan who's used to slowburn plots, I really love it! And honestly, I feel like it's not like most modern cdramas where the storyline is just too unrealistic. To me, it gives off major kdrama vibes, but it still has those signature cdrama elements like the colorful fashion and packed with product placements 🤣 I guess Xinxin chose this project because she wants her dramas to reach kdrama audiences
Is one of the students a Xinxin fanboy? It's cute because every time he's on screen, he's always stealing glances at Xinxin and looks like he can't hold a smile when he's around her. I forgot his name though. He's the one with smaller eyes (well, maybe I'm just imagining it XD)
do people get paid to comment hate comments ? I just don't understand how this drama has low ratings and how some…
Fr, never trust mdl review and comment. It's my 1636th time seeing mdl users are direct hating on a female character. Either they’re half watching or just refuse to see things from a different perspective. Like, if you actually think about it, it makes sense why things happened that way. They hate it when the plot gets realistic, and they still hate it when it's full of drama. Gosh, it’s just a drama. Mdl discussion so toxic and boring now
