I have been busy so I didnt watch this on the premier date, just started watching this now. And sorry to say i…
the first couple of episodes are there to set the scene and allow you to get to know FL. when they start working at the same company, you will theb see ML and FL together a lot. I promise it get much much better, most of us cannot wait for the next episodes to come.
Definitely not good fans. Actors play bad people all the time. Miles Wei played a horrible awful 2ML in Flourished…
that role brought Miles more appreciation if anything that hes not just a pretty face. I do agree. same as shipping the couples. its their job to create great chemistry that we believe its real but 99% it isn't.
Wow... the wedding hall in EP 10 is stunning. Just wondering one thing: the guests dont dress up for a wedding…
I was wondering that too. the bridesmaids had pretty dresses and everyone else were in jumpers. I was surprised when they said in the shop that its perfect for the reception when for me its more like something to wear to work if you wear casual.
I have a very unrelated question but really would like to know. in many Asian dramas, winter time grils tend to wear short skirts with socks only no stocking. Is this actually a thing or its in dramas, like when they visit someone and dont take their coats off but change to slippers? I know lots of girls next to nothing when they go out in the UK but its not all the time.
I really like that they're down to earth people regardless their families being Ritchie Rich. Xiguang working without everyone knowing who she is and doing entry level job that she got on her own merit shows very good character. I really like them. not so much her collage friends, they are just awful. Good that Yusen's friens make up for it π
Ep 11, ML also has an house in shanghai? Thought they live in suzhou.
he lived and worked there before so makes sense to have a home. the housekeeper was saying something that they brought over things from his house in Shanghai I think.
I really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. especially that the story itself is nothing new but it's done so well, just draws you in and you simply want to see more. I am putting You are my glory on my watchlist I think as seems this style is really for me π
I dont think SML is even a match for SWL in looksSWL looks otherworldly esp with that hairstyleπ₯°
I agree, and I dont even like SWL looks but I think here he's styled better than usual (with the exception of Everlasting Longing, he rocked that look)
Call me biased but I still don't like her college friends (aside from the one). Going months without talking to…
None of them is her friend for sure apart from Feng (the girl that took the phone call), she is genuine but the rest.... Glad Lin Yusen is there for the weddiny to give a punch in π
Is it me or do I feel like the first episode is like in 1.5x speed? Is it supposed to be like that?
its just you, but thats ok. you might do the same with the first 4 as its mainly concentrating on FL. its a nice watxh though, gives lot of depth tp her character.
I think she is mild compare to some of the C-drama mothers I've watched. There were some really nasty ones who…
I think its more blood boiling as she was not really motherly to a child from early on causing trauma that he is not worthy, etc. normally we see c drama mamas against someone who is an adult. I think here the abuse made her worse. only my opinion of course.
shes given him crumbs and hes happy with that, which makes it very sad and proves how shittg his life had been.i didnt get to the scarf part before, now, ive seen i still feel she's made very little effort compared to thr damage she'd done. I do see what you say but for me it wasn't cutting it. they tend to do this in Asian dramas that opposing mothers typically do a 180 just as the end comes with no particular reason only to make a happier ending but I feel its very unrealistic.
