I still dislike her. being awful for 30 years does not get cancelled by coming around him marrying her daughter i dont think. She just realised Mu would easily choose him if she's fussing around.
Why on earth her mum is so horrible? like from day one, how can someone be awful to a defendless child, especially when he is such a big help around her baby and child later. She is an absolute disgrace in episode 28, whereas her husband is a sweetie, bless him.
how do you do that though? (im not rating things till we are half way in unless something is very good or bad, but i couldnt figure out this episode rating - is tend to remember seeing on website but i cannot see on tbe app?)
Sniper Butrerfly, now this.In for a treat this December π Liking it 5 eps in, I wouldnt say SWL cannot act, he seems to be bringing his character and finally I like his styling (I started for Jin Mai and she does not disappoint). Strong start, hope it'll keep up.
after meet ML again FL should have given back all his thing he gave her during relationship (pen, jade pendent…
why? I dont think ive ever given anything back that was given to me. id give back his stuff if he left some. the cafe was her dream for them. he made it possible out of love. the only think is the dog, whatever his reason was it to keep him but she did make a remark on that surely shed get him back.
I am confused! The scene of their breakup, was it his dream or was it real? If it was real, was it after his recovery?…
I think id prefer the dream option especially that right after the scene he is in his hospital bed he couldnt flipping moving out of. I think battling it through is a nonsense, like he was standing then sitting a step of 2 away, clearly with the level of injury he had he would not have been able to do any of it without crutches , which were nowhere in sight. therefore I'd rather believe they never actually met, broke up, etc, like she was messaging him from the weird Russian lecture, why would she do that if they've broken up?
I think so far it was the weirdest episode that made zero sense. from her running to try to save him, the whole charade with the weird race setting, then their meeting where he stands there and next minute shes in Canada on a course studying in Russian. like, what? then next moment he is back in hospital not able to walk, how the actual f@@k was he meeting with her? then Lu coming thst they solved the case.. was he not supposed to win the race in order to be chosen and trusted by the alliance to help to take them down? and of course the noble crap of she deserves better, not a cripple stuff like she'd care (right he is proud or what not..). This was meant to be his mission thst he worked towards all the previous episodes ans they resolved in 5 mins out of screen. im sure they cut more than 1 episode this whole thing just isn't making sense.
I think if you say anything remotely negative about FL, you'll get pulled apart and called as hater. this "fandom" of hers defo cannot take any criticism, I dont think ive ever came across similar on other boards. you equally criticised Ko Mi Nam and i am not at all offended though You're Beautiful has to be one of my favourite k dramas. (i also happen to like EunWoo and Yang yang π) people need to grow up. opinion is not necessarily hate.
Thatβs why Iβm confused cause people are dragging Esther as if this script and production is top tier. I promise…
even though I dont particularly like her, I agree. for me after around ep 14 it started to be very draggy. the editing is also bad, it cuts off scenes like no tomorrow and next scene is totally not connected. weird. I am also not a fan of slow mo, you can slowly kill me with it, and for some reason, after a fast paced first part, they're going to that direction, like if there were multiple directors. hopefully the final 3rd goes back to whoever worked on the first 14 episodes and finish on a high note as I have to admit, I'm struggling to even attempt to sit and watch the next episode.
I brought this up last week too that somethings feel missing and even the dialogues sometimes doesn't make sense...…
I agree. sometimes feels its a totally different vibe and even time between some scenes where I'd expect some continuity. never mind, it is what it is.
I find the editing of this drama very odd. I wish they did smoother transitions. somehow it feels like it was not cut from 30 to 29 but 40 to 29 as some scenes are just ending so abruptly.
Story is OK, but I will never understand the appeal of girls/women that act like kids. This is not even portray…
it does give me a bit of icky feeling to be honest. I dont see how an adult man would find childish behaviour attractive. her little sister is more mature in the drama who is an actual child (she seems to be a very observant little thing with the 2 ice creams bless her)
I think her childishness is a little over the top sometimes, yeah. But I also recognize that she grew up pampered…
I think you hit the nail on the head that its overplayed to try to bring out the age gap, which in real life isn't even an age gap and so she goes a bit overboard with it? Just because you're pampered and spoilt, i dont think you become habitually cringy and whingy, but it might be how they describe her in the book. let's wait and see if she matures as they say she would π€
