From what I’ve gathered, the main 'bones' of the story and the 'script kill' setting are the same, but the drama has definitely heightened the stakes! In the novel, the romance is a bit more of a 'gradual burn' within the gaming world, whereas the drama focuses more on their real-life tension and the corporate mystery. The drama also added more layers to the 'protective' side of the Male Lead's character that weren't as prominent in the book. It’s a very faithful 'spirit' adaptation, but expect some extra drama twists!
