Fun, silly and doesn't take itself seriously...what rom coms should be
To correct what other reviewers have said, this isn't a "testing the water" mature couple drama. This is a follow up to the smash hit Silver Vows：Suddenly Married to a Billionaire, which was a one of the most watched cshorts in Asia in 2024. It's not meant to be a serious soapy drama, it's a typical cshort style rom com with outlandish plot that doesn't take itself seriously. It's meant to be fun and entertaining and it does its job. What made it and its predecessor a hit is really the leads. Their chemistry is off the charts. The FL is endearing and the ML has charisma in spades. It just sucks you in and allows you to not take its ridiculous premise and plot seriously as it was intended. It's pure entertainment that makes you giggle at its absurd moments.
