Holy Product Placements Batman!

With a show that was literally all about product placements, it felt like the directors falsely advertised the series with the trailers. It took everything I had for me to finish this series in it's entirety.

The plot in theory sounds great, as it's one of the few fantasy BLs that takes the two main characters , Talay and Puen and transports them to a parallel universe and into the bodies of Tess and Tun and....vice versa. The series then follows Talay and Puen through the trials and the tribulations that they experience in their new lives in this new universe and they team up and try to figure out how to get back to their own world. Sounds pretty interesting, right? WRONG! The series completely loses sight of this concept and plot, and instead what we get is this long, jumbled mess of a series filled with BLATANT product placements....and I mean blatant. They don't event try to be subtle about it. I am okay with product placements if it helps drive the story, but there was literally no point in dedicating 85% of the series to product placements.

The production quality of the show was great and there really were some stunning visuals, which leads me to believe it was a result of the money the director received from all of the product placements.🤣

I really wanted to like this series because I throughly enjoyed Bad Buddy, and the chemistry between Nanon and Ohm. When I found out they were going to be in this series and that I was going to get a chance to see that chemistry again, I definitely signed on to watch this....I was quickly disappointed to find out that they are literally on the show for like 5 seconds, and Jimmy and Sea's chemistry doesn't even compare and felt down right awkward at times. I am honestly not sure if it was the lack of chemistry or the writing that made it so hard to believe that these two individuals were in love. I believed that they cared deeply for each other and that they may even have had a bromance but I wasn't even slightly convinced they were more than friends until episode 11.

Honestly, the show started out pretty entertaining and funny, but quickly went downhill from there and completely derived from the plot. They should consider remaking this like the did with Love Mechanics because it has so much potential. The show does however, make for a good drinking game. 😆😂 Every time there's a product placement, take a shot!
