It was sweet, short, light story
Watched this because I loved Chap in Lovely Writer. I don't understand why people don't like the drama? I really liked it! :D I wished the episodes were longer and there was more depth and character development. But considering the running time, more depth would've led to hurried pace.I found it sweet, light drama, that you can binge-watch.
Pros:
The two leads' chemistry is off the roof(I'm in love with Chap)! Overall production looks really good (men in formals...should I complain? :D ).
Also the main OST is super-catchy (I've been listening to it on loop).
Simple plot where MLs are in Tuxedo industry. Bast**d son, childhood trauma leading to PTSD that the other lead helps in overcoming.
Cons:
Usual overdone tropes in plenty here: accidental kisses, finger-cut-kissing-the-wound, side characters' story that felt used as just fillers.
One thing that annoyed me was Nawee being brutal as the beginning and turning out to be super-vulnerable later?? Weird.
Acting: Not outstanding but not bad either.
I still gave it pretty high rating solely based on good vibes of the drama (Also because I'm in love with Chap).

A one time watch. Mostly a drag
Only and only Last episode was worth watching. Type nailed the monk character. That alone garnered all my stars. Rest of the episodes were a drag. Wish there was a little more depth in Fiat and Leo’s story. The cutest person who made me smile in every scene was definitely Champ. P’Thorn is absolutely adorable and as savage as the first season Thorn. They practically destroyed Techno’s character. Like, where’s the No who had the best, most savage comebacks to Type’s ridiculous behaviour! And why is their nosy hostel neighbour back here? I mean I did enjoy them in the first season but in this one, it felt really forced. If you planned to get every one from the first season, why miss out on cutie Kaonahhh(Llong)! Also, nitpicking here, but I hated the airbrushed makeup every person adorned. I really don’t mind the raw, real faces and a little messed up hair from s1. This one had straight-from-fairy-tale vibes.
I’ve watched Tharntype s1 like a zillion times. This one will have to suffice single watch time. Didn’t hate it but I guess the season 1 set the bar too high really.

Okay wow!! Just... WOW!!
I generally am very picky about writing reviews for shows but here's the series that's holding me gunpoint to do it :D .This was beyond my expectations! I love love loved it! I've not been so hooked to a drama in ages. This was a masterpiece.
Definitely lots of trigger warnings (sexual assault, drug abuse, nudity, torture, asphyxiation, violence, gore, mutilation, electrocution, I might have missed a few... I now see why this series is not on YouTube) but everything aside, I loved this show for being so freaking gripping. I was controlling myself so hard not to binge-watch the entire series.
Favourite character(s): Porsche (I just adored this adorable, witty, pervert who attracts trouble everywhere), Porchay & Kim (damn Jeff Satur, you have my heart you sexy beast!), Pete (dude here's my 21-gun salute for the brilliant acting. My heart breaks at what this character went through). Not adding Kinn because the hell's wrong with your eyebrows bruh! Naah, just kidding (not really... you need a good trim :D ). Warning: none of the characters are black and white. But I've overlooked the problematic aspects (in character's behaviour. Not the drama) for now and focused on the overall character development which was done brilliantly.
Favourite moment: Porsche's rib breaking embrace and lip-breaking kiss to Kinn when Kinn asks him to go live his dream of house at the beach. Kim crying for Porchay. Pete traumatised and tortured by Vegas in the bathtub. All drunk-Porsche's scenes (did I mention he's adorable?).
Special mention: Tankhun. This guy... I don't have words for Tong's character. He seems like he's there for just comedic relief but no... he goes way way wayyy deeper than that.
Parts that annoyed me: Ken and Big's ending. They deserved better than the 10-second death exit they got! Even Pete's death got more empathy and ritual and he didn't even die!
And that blast... (what the hell was that! Kinn: "Are you okay?" Is he okay? He's not got a freakin' dust particle on him buddy! What was that even! ).
Also, why was Big in sling for weeks and Porsche's gunshot wound healed after one-night of partying? My acne stays longer that Porsche's gunshot wound.
Why/how Tawan got back again? Wasn't he shot by Kinn?
Music: work-of-art. The music took the whole series to another level.
Screenplay: when it comes to screenplay, I always go back to the scene where Vegas opens the truck compartment and the team jumps out to fry up the enemy... In short, chef's kiss.
Production: you can see 5-star mansions, BMW's, expensive tux, whiskey, pool, spa, guns and hot guys... so yeah, production's off the roof I guess.
I'm one-hundred percent gonna miss this drama so badly! If they come up with second season, my soul will leave my body and float away happily...

Just plain old boring
This is the first Thai BL that I've dropped (that's huge! considering I survived Fish Upon the sky!). The issue with this series is it's 'lost potential'. It's not necessarily bad (I would just hate-watch it in that case). It was just boring!!!There's a concept of universe travelling, where a person's soul can travel to different universe and into another person's body. Right?! Such a great plot...except... the makers flushed it right down the drain.
There's bits and pieces of it just to remind us that 'oh these people have landed in different universe' but that's about it. No indication of any confusion within these travellers' minds, them missing their family, friends, nothing.
There are 2-3 time leaps - some in months, some years - I'm guessing time leaps were added to give this drama a lyrical feel. But these leaps just felt lazy!! Like makers didn't want to show what happened with Tun - time leap. How these people went from college friends to releasing a movie - time leap!
No complains on the acting - Jimmy & Sea did a great job - their chemistry was good. But you can only do so much with chemistry if the story is lacklustre. My biggest ick was there's absolutely no build up to Talay & Puen's relationship. They just meet and that's it - they are goofing around, pecking cheeks, having slow-mo movements (that snow in Thailand scene was cringe). Like it was obvious that they were being put in the spotlight deliberately. Like they were the MC's not only in the drama but even in their own universe. The scenes with Tun having shaving cream on face to depict ages gone by, I understand that the makers were trying to make it very poetic. It just felt unnecessary! It really was not that dramatic! Why did Tun even decide to not contact Talay?
Half the time I felt Puen is hiding something, that's why he's somewhat clingy and smiling and cheerful and so sure of himself. But it's been 6 EPISODES!!! I don't think I can bear to watch fillers after fillers even if someone assures me there's a big reveal at the end.
One redeeming quality of this show was the vibes + defined color tones for each episode but how much can you really indulge with just vibes when product placement are there to assassinate EVERY FREAKIN' SCENE!!! (I wouldn't bother about ranting on the product placements because many have added those points in review, but MY GOD THERE'S A LIMIT! That was also one BIG reason for me to drop the show).

Typical Cliched rich CEO, poor girl trope
I'm not gonna complain about the cliches in this show because that kind of provided a nostalgic escapism that we used to get from earlier kdramas like Boys over flower, What's wrong with Secretary Kim etc. This one is slightly fresh (just slightly). I was more invested in the 2nd couple though. Good, light, sweet drama with great clothes, houses and food. All great.HOWEVER. (and this is the biggest pet peeve of mine)...
However, the sheer amount to dumbness the main characters showed was mind-boggling. The CEO ML is apparently a genius but cannot discern the overly-obvious similarity between Shin Guem Hui & Shin Ha Ri?!?! Even while attending the concert, when the same dial tone played, the same injury was seen on two different people on the same day?! Even when he was outright showed Shin Ha Ri on the video commercial BTS!? That was frustrating to watch...
Coming to Shin Ha Ri... by comically trying to run, crawl, make faces while attempting to hide your identity, you're bringing even more attention to yourself!!! Well thank god the CEO is dumb but my God this woman knew how to be centre of attention while trying to avoid being centre of attention.
I know this is supposed to be chill, sweet, funny romcom, but this is 2022...surely better job could've been done on writing out the characters. Even romcoms can be funny without making the characters overly dumb.

Cracky but lost in the trope
FUTS in a nutshell:"You like me"
"No I don't."
"You don't know it but you like me"
"Not really, I like-"
"Not only you like me but you really really like me"
"Actually, I like someone-"
"EVERYBODY, HE LOVES ME!"
"The hell-"
.
"Stranger, thanks for hearing me rant every night. I'm fed up with this guy at school."
"Yeah... you love him"
"What the-"
**DEAD**
.
Initial episodes were interesting, but the series kind of dragged a bit in the middle episodes. Mork was sweet and kind but felt a bit annoying for being too tenacious...? Like, you've already done your job...back off now buddy! If Pi likes you, he'll figure out on his own.
This series started off as a crack and should have stayed the overly ridiculous drama in all the episodes instead of only first few.

This show was tiring!
Like, I don't mind watching a show which is character driven rather than plot-driven. But really, every Run-on character felt lethargic. Nothing wrong with the entire setup, but parts of it were too slow and unnecessary (could have done away with the assemblyman's cribbing). Could have easily wrapped up the everything (including character development) in 10 episodes. I wish there was some more context around dynamics of Seo Dan Ah and her family, especially the younger brother <3.Favorite characters: Yeong Hwa, Dana's younger brother and Doo Sik! I didn't care for the main lead. Slightly inclined towards the 2nd leads but gave up mid-way since that became cliched as well. Watch it if you have the patience to watch slow-paced shows with lots of everyday, casual conversations.
Lastly, for a show titled run-on, I wish there was more running involved. :-(
