episode 7 spoilers: chan is someone who thinks of himself as the “good guy” when in reality he isnt. he doesn’t realize that his partner is suffering and anxious around him cuz he’s so emotionally unaware. it’s always “me me me” with guys like him. as long as his partner makes him happy, loves him, comforts him, accomodates him, he will like them too, without caring how his partner actually feels. and he’s so painfully unaware about this too. chan doesn’t think of dareum as a person but rather someone who is “his” like a doll (the shopping date scene where he dressed dareum how he wanted her to look like even though she was visibly uncomfortable with the dresses) and wanted her to follow him to US like a lapdog just cuz it makes him happy
