But what you say actually hurts me because I've been interested in the storyline AND the lore and worldbuilding etc... everything that comes with it. But I'm just not really a webtoon/manga/manhwa person overall... Me and my laziness are best friends forever 🤝 What a shame 😁

Anyone who didn't read the original material and went into the movie knowing nothing, who has some impression to share? I haven't watched it yet but have been anticipating for a long time just like many, because of the synopsis and the cast.

I'm very taken aback by the ratings coming out, however I'm also aware that the impression of someone who is a fan of the original material and can compare it would hence feel more disappointed than someone who doesn't have anything to compare it with... So I'm asking if there's someone who went in with no prior knowledge and actually didn't feel that it was so awful...?😅🥲

No worries, I still remember anticipating so many dramas long before they started airing and then witnessing when they started airing and seeing 2 new eps coming out each week but having so many other dramas to watch at the same time that I'm only getting to it now... 😂😭

Some of them were airing 2 years ago... Back then I was also anticipating and counting the days till they drop... and today 2 years later I still didn't watch yet... Talk about chaos 😅

I didn't like her character and her specific demeanor at first but after more episodes I got used to her 😄

I feel you... And I feel like the actors aren't really given much to act with. Even with plenty of action and dialogues, the characters are sort of just...there. It's mostly "noona" here. The story idea sounded like a very interesting choice but at the end of the day I'm not seeing anything "spectacular" here – but not something atleast enjoyable enough to kill some time either.

Most of the people enjoy it a lot for some reason and even though I don't see why (and the whole plot with all it's twists seems sloppy to me personally), I respect it. I just stick around out of curiosity even though I can't particularly say that I care. To me after 4 episodes it seems quite poor (and yes I've been skipping parts throughout because I just didn't feel pulled in and it made me sleepy). I'm a huge thriller person and even more when I have young leads in it (don't want to say teenage because they're older I think). So on the paper this is my cup of tea... it's just that the characters or the plot itself didn't make me care. It still did make other people care and that's fine with me. 😅🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess everyone should give it a shot and see for themselves.

I know, I realize that, it's just that (yes they're united and they have been trained for years) it feels way too simple somehow, I don't know. It's just my opinion, I didn't come here to attack the show or try hate on it, those are merely the things I just somehow didn't wrap my head around. 😁

I admit that I'm not as interested in it as I initially thought I'd be so that surely plays some part in it, however that doesn't mean I think it's a bad show when clearly majority is enjoying it. It's probably that I watched too many thrillers lately so my brain is not braining anymore. 😄

Yes yes, I know they've been trained by him for yers, it just somehow slipped from me that he left so much behind when they barely escaped with some bagpacks. And I thought they lost the car along the way but then in the next scene they had it again, so I was lost 😅😭

Ok here's another scenario: I had a really bad day and didn't pay close attention to those things because I'm really (and I mean really) tired today (yesterday) and maybe I didn't even feel that intrigued by the plot so those things naturally slipped from me or I even skipped some scenes because I didn't feel interested. Wow shocking, I know. May I be forgiven for my sins.

But go on and be the perfect Mr. know it all about everyone in these comments because god forbid someone missed something and isn't perfectly spot on on everything.

it's not like I want those kids to get hurt... I do not. But how is the progress so simple and easy for them? Where on earth did they get that spy equipment? How do they change locations so easily? Where did they get another car? How did none of them get beaten by those trained professional gangsters? How do they always win and carry out all their steps just in a finger snap?😅

That's what confirmed my bad feeling even more... It's always those things like taking a picture together or making a promise to go somewhere and see something together which signalize something bad is gonna happen..... I don't want to 😓😓

Why do I have such a bad feeling that Seok Ku will be the first one to get hurt... I can't get rid of that hunch. I hope that I'm completely wrong 😰😭 This is not technically a spoiler but I just don't want anyone to panic the way I do without a reason 🥲

For real one of the best (if not the best) action dramas I've watched... I wish there were more spy dramas like this one 😭😭😭 And I think that Suzy actually slayed here.

Thanks for your feedback, appreciate it. I was actually impressed by the fact that the female role breaks stereotypes here for once, just like you said. That was to my liking. Usually in thrillers you find all your FLs in a quite similar tone (but I'm usually fine with it anyway)...

Maybe I wouldn't mind her "goofy genius" here as much if she atleast didn't stylize herself into a high school girl... I know the idea is for her to be a weirdo yet with a brilliant mind and in these tropes it often goes hand in hand... but she just looks infantile and for some reason I just really don't like it 😄 I'll stick around for a couple more episodes for Son Suk Ku....

Hey, how was it overall? 😁 I'm currently still struggling to even get through the first episode... There's a 10 year time skip but the FL still dresses like a high school girl and even cuts her hair that way and speaks that way so the overall "goofy genius" aura she's probably supposed to give off isn't really doing it for me... But the plot synopsis is just so my cup of tea. I don't know what to do now when the FL annoys me 😅

I think the script here doesnt really make sense anymore and no "big shot" would let themselves be blackmailed this easily... a little far fetched.. BUT I LOVE IT ANYWAY 🤷‍♀️
