i loved everything about this movie!
I'm a sucker for bad fashion from the 2000s, so this movie did not disappoint! lol the chemistry between the two main characters was unbelievably amazing, their acting was great, and the storyline as well. Definitely recommend! I've watched this twice now, and I see myself watching it again sometime in the future. The main couple's chemistry is unbelievable and they seem so comfortable with each other, like they've been dating for decades! Most often then not Japanese BLs tend to have a sad/tragic ending, so it was nice to see a happy ending. Ai No Kotodama stands out and shows a great example of a relationship that goes through hardships and that end up happier at the end.

Confused and disapointed
I watched Make it Right years ago, and I remember not liking it. I just finished re-watching it and I still don't like it. The acting is cringy and bad, the music is at times too loud and often times unnecessary. There are times when the plot is so slow and boring, there are these extremely long and awkward silent pauses in between lines it makes it hard to watch and makes the episode seem two hours long. I was disappointed to realize I didn't like the main couple together, I didn't they had much chemistry together. Book and Frame were more believable as a couple. I'm confused as to why so many people find this series one of the best in the industry.....Was this review helpful to you?

DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT WATCH THE FIRST ONE LOL
I had not realized this was a sequel until I was done watching. This may have affected my experience, but I don't think so. This movie still works as a stand-alone movie.I loved everything about this movie. I love the story, the acting, the actors' chemistry, and the message it sends. I think the director/producer or whoever, made every second of this movie important to the arc of the plot. The only issue I had overall was that I did not like the ending. Although I understand why custody was given to the mother and the reasoning behind that decision, a small part of me wished Nagisa had custody especially since Sora seemed so happy with him. Also, I loved the way Nagisa and Shun's relationship progressed (even though I don't know the context of their fight or their dynamic) I was bursting with pride when Shun became comfortable with himself when he came out. Overall good message, a good story, and a great movie! I will watch the first one and then rewatch this.

Shocked that I'm disappointed
This is an udpate to a review i made months ago, it was deleted.I really liked this series but towards the end I no longer cared about the story or the characters so I stopped watching. I found the twist ( that nubsib and Gene were childhood friends) to be disappointing and not believable. I was kinda annoyed by it. I thought that it didn't seem like something believable in terms of the story. I dont know its hard to describe. It was too much of a coincidence and it felt kind of forced. I felt like the writers had so many options for a twist that what they decided on felt forced and unbelievable. This, and Nubsib pretending not to know Gene was completely unessecary to the plot. The writers could've stuck with the original idea of a director and actor relationship growing etc. This type of relationship was completely new and fresh to the BL industry. It sucks that they had to also throw in something so completely over-done and old just for a little bit of angst and conflict.
