as far as i can remember it doesn’t have any romance i mean it sorta does but it’s not at all the main focus *spoiler* it doesn’t even grow into anything it’s more like attraction

i agree i also like this a bit more than the japanese version, mostly because this actually felt real. you know i love the og cherry magic it’s my absolute favourite and even though i liked this one more it cannot replace the jp version for me, but the japanese version was a bit unrealistic and forced at times. Like the actors tried their hardest to not be intimate, and it felt like adachi was manipulating himself into believing he was into kurosawa while he only liked the attention he got but it’s still a must watch for japanese bl imo
