The show and the novel are two different things though. Nothing about the show indicated that this took place in the Netherlands in 1999. My point still stands.

No it wasn't. A civil union and a marriage are not the same thing. And they couldn't have gotten a civil union in Portugal where LXF lived in 1996, and they also couldn't just get it willy-nilly in another European country. The screenwriters really should have done some more research on this.

But now you're saying two different things? A resident permit in Portugal shouldn't be able to give them access to a civil union in any of the countries you mentioned. And this is the show, not the book. Two different things. Unless they tell us more years have passed, it doesn't count. I know it doesn't really matter, and I'm not taking stuff too seriously, I promise, lol. I'm just disputing this logic.

I was simply making a joke. I also believe that even fun silly stuff needs to be well written and acted, and this is neither. It's okay to be disappointed when stuff isn't what you dreamed it would be, I think you should just let people have their opinions and feelings.

The plot is them trying to act out omegaverse without cringing too hard. So far, the plot needs some work.
