I don't understand the hate that Shen Xing Ruo is getting from the comments. I understand that she had commitment issues because she watched how her parents lived their lives and it affected her view on marriage, but there are a lot of people like that in the real world. Also, after watching episode 9, I start to understand why they broke up.

Are we just on Lu Xing Yan's side because he's good looking? So, we're going to ignore his red flags? I mean, his love is suffocating! He's planning a whole ass wedding when she had expressed to him that she doesn't want to get married. He thinks that she will change her mind, eventually. But he did not take into account that it may ever happened. She had told him that marriage is not in the work for her, but he still ignored her.

Also, he barged into the apartment and beat up Yu Si (not going to lie, I was happy about that because he needed someone to punch him) but he did not even know the full story. He just assumed that she cheated on him. There were other females in the apartment but he just assumed that it was her. I mean, if that's not a RED flag then what is?

If the roles were reversed and it was Lu Xing Yan who acted like Shen Xing Ruo, everyone would praise him, right? I really don't understand the hate on her.

But like she said, they shouldn't have to compromise and give in to each other all the time because then it will bring resentments. Out of the three couple, Lu Xing Yan and Shen Xing Ruo are the realest. It happens in real life. When you just give and compromise to the point where you are loosing yourself in a relationship, there is nothing left but resentment. And we see that with LXY and SXR.

Just finished this drama, and I'm not going to lie, it follows most historical dramas where they start to kill off a lot of characters just to kill off characters.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the ending. I liked how Yueluo's grievances were redressed even though it cost Wei Zhao/Xiao Wuxia's life. This was the legacy that he left behind to protect the people of Yueluo. This is the most heroic thing he can do and I like how they decided to do it this way.

One compliant that I have for the ending, is that they should have shown Wei Zhao/Xiao Wuxia in his Yueluo clothing instead of his Liang clothing. I don't know, but I feel that if he was home, he would be wearing his Yueluo clothing instead. Just a thought. But I am content with how everything was wrapped up.

Yes, it's not considered a happy ending, but I actually think that it is a happy ending. Even though our leads did not get together, we know that his legacy will live on with his son and that to me, is a happy ending.

Overall, I think that this drama could have been a lot shorter, like say 10 episodes shorter. We didn't need a lot of the other stuff. Like the whole "fake" poisoning of the emperor. That whole thing was just not necessary. I know that it was there to move the drama along, but, I didn't think it was needed.

This emperor is going on my list of the most hated emperors. The actor is the same one from Who Rules the World and I hated him, then and I hated him now. And boy, am I glad to see him dead!! He deserves it.

Speaking of villains, I wanted Madam Rongguo to die too. She deserves death for what she did. Why the hell is she still alive? Like why? What is her freakin purpose? She's going on my list of most hated mothers in Chinese drama. I mean, if they didn't kill her off, they should at least make her go mad like what they did with the mother from The Double.

Ep 7 was definitely a refresher after 6 intense episodes . Not going to lie, it did get a little boring so I did ffwd a little bit. But that ending, it made up for it!

Let’s start getting Han Da On on her side fighting for the injustice and getting real justice.

Also, can we give a round of applause to the actor who played the evil CEO? I’ve mainly watch him playing the good guy or the funny sidekick but he nailed it in this episode.

That intern is starting to piss me off. She's what I would call a "pick me girl". She's the rich girl that no one pays attention to, so she tries to make herself "known" by pulling the "don't you know who I am" or "don't you know who dad is" card. She's the second person that I want to slap.

Came back to add to my post. Yu Si or whatever his name is an obsessive man. She only sees you as a friend, don't think you are her lover. I just want to slap him and the intern. They really do belong together. They both think that they deserve to be with LXY and SXR.

Just started this and so far, I like it. I already know that I’m going to want to jump into my screen and slap Yu Si or whatever his name is. He is so detestable and he barely has any screen time so far.

I am definitely not a fan of Madam Rongguo. Someone please spoil it for me, did she die? Because I really want her to die. She is the worst! She treats her son as a puppet and shows him zero love. All she cares about is the throne. And that’s all because the emperor didn’t want her as his main wife but as a concubine. I guess, there’s nothing worse than a woman scorned.

I feel the same. It makes no sense that her family just up and left and have not called her once to make sure she’s okay. I mean, they must have heard that she got stabbed, right? Something is not adding up and I am super suspicious of the Assemblyman’s family.

The killer from the past finally showed up!! Why does it feel like the Assemblyman and his son are also demons? I don't know if they are or not, just a feeling based on the preview. I am not going to lie, I am really enjoying this drama.

PSH is doing a remarkable job playing the demon judge and all actors/actresses that are involve in the murders are all awesome. I mean, their acting is just speechless. I am hooked and can't wait for the next episodes.

HOWEVER, I am getting super annoyed with Han Da On. He is getting on my last nerves, that I wished he did die when she killed him. I get that her way of punishing the criminals is not the way he wants her to, but he needs to understand that she is a demon -- which he knew since the beginning -- punishing the bad guys is actually what she is supposed to do. I don't understand why he can't get that through to his little head.

Arong is also getting pretty interesting. She mentioned that her mission is to get rid of demons who are developing human feelings, but what role does she play in helping Jusitita?

Curious, I am getting very curious about Kang Bit Na's past and how it relates to Han Da On's past. I feel like that they are going to make it a connection, but I want to know more about her. I mean, whenever they get to almost revealing to us (the audience) about her past, they stop short of telling us about her past. Why did her family move aboard? Why does she not have a relationship with them? Why haven't they called to check up on her? I mean, she was literally stabbed to "death".

Also, why isn't anyone talking about her getting stabbed? Like did everyone just forget that she got stabbed? I know that they mentioned that she "changed" after getting stabbed, but that's as far as they had gotten.

I am really hoping that they are going to tie everything nicely at the end and not give us a bs ending because it's been so good.

I agree with you, Han Do An is getting on my nerves too. But just like all dramas that involves supernatural and police officers, the police officer would always be a pain in the butt. I get that it’s his duty, but he can’t punish her with human laws.

To me, ep 5 was the best episode so far. That actor with the multiple personalities… no words. Just wow! If Han Da On did not trick him, I would have never thought that he was pretending. He deserves an award for that scene alone.

Kang Bit Na is getting way too cocky. She needs to slow her horse down. I get that she wants to return to Hell ASAP, but shes doing it the wrong way.

Honestly, I am more interested in Han Da On’s past and Kang Bit Na’s past. I want to know more about them - the crime and why she broke up her engagement.

I also want to think that the Satan they are looking for is the serial killer in his case.

But overall, I have no idea where this is going to take us.

She doesn’t know the whole truth. I feel that that’s what she believed happened. But it does pissed me off that JC is blindly believing in her because she has been in Yueluo and has seen the aftermath of what happened. She be friended Yeuluo people and have worked with them. But I do get that she’s confused or shocked because this is all news to her.

Honestly, I don’t think he even has an ambition. Everything that we have seen him done so far IS because of his mother. She’s the driving force. He’s just her puppet.

So far, JC has been a free thinker, but why does it feel like when it comes to her master/aunt, she wholeheartedly believe every word she says? I mean, I get that she raised her and everything but after seeing the word, and hearing about how Xiao Haitian was framed, how could she just believe her master’s words? Her master doesn’t even know what the real truth is, how can she just believe her? Also, I blame her master for her father’s death. It was a dumb plan that failed but yet, somehow, she blames Xiao Haitian without even knowing that their actions were the issue.

Is it just me or is PY’s mother acting out because she’s being petty that she wasn’t chosen as the empress but a concubine? It seems like everything she’s doing and planning is a “I’m going to stick it to you for not picking me and I’m being petty about it all of these years.”

Other than that, there is literally no other reason why she is doing what she’s doing.

Ep 26 was so sad. Those innocent people didn’t deserve to die but I understand that they wanted to protected Yueluo. It was a hard choice for WZ and HJ.

Episode 3 explains that she can only punish the sinners who have killed. She can’t just go and kill anyone she likes. As for the CCTVs, I think it’s to hide evidence. Also, I think that she goes and proclaims she’s a demon because no one is going to take her seriously.

I do agree with you that she needs to stop because it will get used against her as we saw in ep 3.

As much as you don’t like it, this is what happens all the time. I am not saying that all police officers are bad, but there are police officers using excessive force without remorse. I don’t think the show is “glorifying” it though. It was one case. And I didn’t think he used excessive force at all.

As for the DV, like I stated, this happens a lot of the time. The abuser usually gets away with it especially when the victim writes a letter to the courts. I honestly don’t think it’s fair, but if majority of the time, the victim is too scared to move forward, so it gets dropped or nothing really happens. BUT, there was a scene in which she states that it won’t stop even if he goes to jail, and it’s true. Even if the courts are able to put the person behind bars, it won’t stop that person from harming the victim when they get out.

I don’t think it makes “excuses” like you say. I think that it’s portraying what really happens in the real world.

So, even though the show is extreme, I have seen worse. This is not your typical “happy, go lucky” drama. If you’re looking for the “k-drama vibe” you’re going to have to watch something else.

Also, this is not the first drama that deals with things like this. You should watch Taxi Driver. It deals with the same thing but instead of a demon, it’s actually group of underground people taking the revenge for the victims and taking justice into their own hands.

What an intense drama - completely different from PSH’s previous work and I gotta say that I like this new PSH. She should do more dramas like this.

So far, so good. I just hope that they keep the momentum going like this and not change it later. Most dramas tend to start off really well and then fall apart at the end.

I’m not sure why the rating for this drama is so high. But I don’t follow reviews. I watch it myself to make a determination for myself. With that being said, I have watch plenty of shows involving courts and I want to say that this is not yet.

I fast forward 32 episodes! That’s how bad this show is. Not going to lie, I only started this because of clips I saw on FB and I’m disappointed. The court scenes are interesting but other than that, there’s nothing good to watch. I mean, it’s a wasted storyline.

The FL got on my nerves to the point where I just wanted to slap her. The prosecutor and lawyer pissed me off so much.

The ending was stupid as well. 32 episodes wasted on nothing substantial. The cases were the only interesting thing.

Also, how the heck did no one, I mean, NO ONE did a background check on him? They’re supposed to be rich right?! They’re supposed to have connections right?! Like, he changed over night and everyone just accepted it as is. Or did I miss that?

I don’t know. It was boring to start off with in the first place, and it got interesting with the switch, then but I spent the entire time, and my sleep time, fast forwarding this drama.

Wasted talents, wasted story line.

The way I view the FL is that she's free spirited and just wants travel and eat all the delicious food in the world - which is a goal for her. She seemed to be sheltered from the outside world for a long time so without seeing the world, she didn't really know much except for food and meeting beautiful people. However, later on (after seeing outside world and meeting all kinds of people) she will discover her purpose.
