i can safely say that this is the BEST drama of 2026. it’s also one of the very few dramas that didn’t lose the plot with bad writing towards the end. i always wish for new dramas to have 16 episodes, but 12 episodes really was the perfect outcome for this drama. 10/10 on the acting, story, and directing for me!

we saw chairman kang viewing his youngest daughter as someone who is smart and capable, and he starts to appreciate the little things about her that he missed out on while she was growing up.
we saw the stepmother finally stand up for herself and take authority in her own household. she didn’t want to be treated like a doormat anymore.
we saw some backstory on why the twins act the way they do, with chairman kang showing full regret in shaping them into selfish monsters.
this recent episode was very intense! i’m so excited to see how the story turns in the second half.
also, i just saw junyoung’s letter. i’m very glad this drama is massively successful in korea because i hope this success tells him that so many people will anticipate his return 👍 i’m wishing him all the best, and i hope four hands does well, too!

exactly how i feel. hyun jimin is the writer for this drama while kim soonok is only the creator, but i think jimin works closely with soonok since they had the same staff positions for pandora: beneath the paradise.
you can already see how there is such a noticeable improvement in jimin’s writing for this drama. i hope we get this solid consistency for the rest of the episodes!
every episode so far manages to end on a really good cliffhanger that makes you want to come back and tune in for the next episode. as of now, this drama is really solid! it deserves an 8.5 on here, at LEAST.
not my fault that some viewers aren’t smart if they keep lying by saying a romance plot was fed to them when all the plot synopses, tags, promos and interviews say otherwise 🤷🏻♀️ and attractive actors always do get shipped together regardless of the storyline they’re acting for, lol. you have a nice day or night or whatever, though.
the romance speculations existed because the lead actors are ATTRACTIVE 😭 that’s why they went viral! koreans WANTED to ship them because they’re ATTRACTIVE! like be serious for one second! everything in the industry boils down to lookism and obsessions with visuals. that was quite LITERALLY my original point. there weren’t ANY romantic promotional materials. it’s not MY problem that YOU ignored my point because i didn’t prove YOUR point at ALL 😭
