New, exciting, great everything!

First off, let's talk about the cast! Amazing! I literally started watching this just because of Vengo Gao but knew a few others as well. Big bonus: Ryan Ren, in what is, in my opinion, the greatest acting role I've ever seen him in. He blew me away in this character; the tough but scared soldier and the borderline insanity he is portraying in these later episodes is a delight to watch!

I am a huge fan of the supernatural genre and this plot just dazzled me. From the vampire element to the stones with "magical" properties to the psycho female villian who really doesn't seem to give any care to her own life eventhough that's what she's fighting for.
Multiple villians, that make you wonder from episode to episode which one took hate the most today, and some characters you just can't really get a handle on; are they really allies or are they going to turn out to be villians in the end?

I'm watching it day by day as the episodes air but so far I haven't found a single one that's let me down in any way. This is a real treat! Enjoy!!

Try it for yourself before making judgments

I went into this show with spoilers. I knew what was going to happen and I knew how it would end.
I'm one of THOSE people.
That being said, after reading multiple reviews about this show I was sad to find that many say "don't watch it". They point out all the flaws and none of the good points. Does it have flaws? Yes; why is she a former athlete? What got her into the funeral gig? Why all the deaths but not a lot of explanation/follow through? None of these questions are really answered. Especially one really sad death involving apparent murder/suicide.

However, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. The ML /FL were great and the romance was sweet and even though there was an annoying ex involved at one point, it made sense to me that they be there. The side characters were just what they were meant to be, funny or serious, family, friends, shoulders to lean on. This drama showed depression and growth of a character to have a past and move forward out of it. You'll read that the worst episodes are the final 4. Yes, they suck, but if you go into it blind, they suck because of the shock factor. If you pay attention, it all really makes sense. The final death especially. The mission she had to complete had to end. Of course with the death of a beloved character. How else could she move on in her own personal life? While it was incredibly sad, it was perfect in my opinion. The final death makes sense to me. So does the "villian".

Again, maybe because of the shock value people didn't understand......I got it. It absolutely made sense to me who the villian was and why. The acting was on point as well...do all psychopaths seem like psychopaths at first glance? Are they actually crazy or is there an upbringing that contributes to it. Watch the show and see for yourselves. If you do and you still hate it, fine, that's your choice. But please, give it a chance with all I've said kept in mind.

9 out of 10 for a few storyline glitches.

A sweet tear-jerker.

Okay! Literally just finished the last episode. If you loved "Heartstopper" and the older "A Walk to Remember " this show is for you. It's literally the two combined, although with an open ending.

The first half is a sweet and adorkable rom-com, where you will fall in love with the positive overachiever and the troubled jock, and the second half is a more serious reach-for-the-tissues story about love, life and how we choose to spend our days on Earth.

You may or may not like the open ending, I personally thought it was good. Perfect for a positive outlook on life in general.
Definitely would recommend and will absolutely be re-watching!!

Worth watching

First time reviewing, but after reading all the others, I just had to add my two cents.

I watched 2 Moons and 2 Moons 2 back to back. I read all the reviews, spoilers included, to prepare me for the best and the worst of both shows. This is what I have to say about it all.

They are both enjoyable!

2 Moons, for the short series that it was, was a great show! The actors pulled off their roles well and though the story seemed to drag on just a bit, it was a decent story for what was a good 1st season.

Now, 2 Moons 2 is a sequel. But not really.
First, the main cast has completely changed. I heard it was because of production/studio issues. Second, 2 Moons 2 is more of a remake, the first 4 episodes are essentially the whole of "Season 1" smooshed together and retold.
(And it's not bad.) The only problem I had with 2 Moons was the pacing, it seemed to drag on for me in places. 2 Moons 2 took the major plot points and moved the story along well.

After the remade first 4 eps, we get into the rest of the story. Pha and Wayo are a cute couple, although they have jealousy issues and to make matters worse, they are given antagonists that are a bit too creepy for me. I found Park really stalker-esque right away and honestly had a hard time watching any scenes with him in them. However, I did not appreciate Wayo's behavior towards him in episode 11. All he should've done was talk out his anger/jealousy issues with Pha instead of try to use a psycho as revenge. Communication, people! Solves a lot of problems. Pring is just a bi**h.

Ming and Kit were a bit of a treat for me. I loved Kim and Copter in the first roles, so I was hesitant to see how the new actors would fill their shoes. I LOVED them!! ? These two were perfect for the roles and played them sooo much better than I thought they would. Ming, being the confident man that he is, went after Kit with all he had and though Kit kept up his stance that he just wasn't interested, everyone could tell that he definitely was. I liked how Ming did, in fact, back off for a bit, showing Kit that he really did have feelings for him instead of being a huge pain in the ass by constantly not taking "no" for an answer. When they met Kit's family, I honestly thought it was going to be so much worse than it was, (still hate Kit's brother though) and the sweetness they shared was absolutely adorable.

Now, onto couple three, Beam and Forth. Okay, first things first, WHAT?!
I really didn't understand where this couple came from at all. Are they cute together? Yes.
Are they both hot as s**t? Yes. But falling in love immediately after a drunken one night stand? Not very believable to me. Forth originally liked Wayo, love triangle ensued, then choice made, Forth was out, but still a friend. Makes sense. Then all of a sudden we have a long time secret crush of Beam to Kit?! Nothing leading into it...no clues....it was so out there, all I could do was shake my head and just keep watching to see what happened next. Then the infamous night of drinking to drown their sorrows of lost love only to fall into each others arms and come out the next morning with one of them suddenly ready to make a go at a new relationship. This whole storyline had me confused. Don't get me wrong...they were cute together and in the end, I truly enjoyed watching their scenes, but I just had a hard time believing the whole thing. (BTW: Forth goes shirtless a couple of times....so feel free to enjoy that!!)

The fact that they made each couple different was a plus for me. I prefer a multi-couple show where they each have something special.
Pha and Wayo: "unrequited" high school crush
Ming and Kit: Younger pursues older, the chase
Beam and Forth: sexy times and friends to lovers.

The ending had me wanting to outright kill Park. Not kidding, I felt murderous rage. I knew he was a psycho and I can only hope he gets a damn good punishment in the next season. That punch was so not enough.

In conclusion, this show is definitely worth watching, whether you like it or hate it in the end, is entirely up to you, but for me, overall it was pretty good. I will probably go back and rewatch it after a while.

I am definitely interested in seeing 2 Moons 3 when it comes out, although, I haven't heard too much about it yet.
