Hello there drama lovers!
So I started this whole obsession when I was a teenager with manga and anime. That kept my interest for a long time, but after a while I started wondering if there were live adaptions of some of my favorites. That's how I was introduced to JDramas. I fell in love with the Japanese language and culture. At first I would only watch Japanese dramas sand movies, one of my favorites being Hana Yori Dango. When I finished both series and the movie, I went into a drama slump (I'm sure you all know how that feels). But then I discovered that there was a Korean version. So I started it...and hated it. The language was different and the actors seemed all wrong for the parts - keep in mind that I was still in love with the Japanese version. So my drama obsession went on hiatus. Then, the summer after I graduated high school, I decided to give Asian dramas another shot. I searched for lists of the most popular dramas out there and came across one called Coffee Prince. I started watching it...and fell in love - with the actors, the story, the language. It was wonderful! After I finished Coffee Prince, I knew my drama obsession was far from over. I continued with Goong, Lie to Me, Boys Before Flowers, City Hunter, among many others. My two favorite actors right now are Yoon Eun Hye and Lee Min Ho.
So here I am, an Asian drama lover by any standard!
