I tried to figure out why the feel was so different from the first season but then it hit me on the first season…
Yeah, it does seem like it. It was Millennial's Choice that produced this. There isn't even any MV for the main songs unlike usual Studio Wabi Sabi production where we get spoiled with tons of MVs.

I agree. It's surprising to see some people who hated this season to resort to ad hominem and insults to those…
Realized that there are also people who keep coming back just to insult the viewers or rejoice the drop in ratings. Like wth we get that you hate the show

The show is decent overall, but I find it hard to believe that P'New or Studio Wabi Sabi were involved in this. Here are some of my observations:

1. Kissing scenes - P'New is known to be hands-on with his artists and directs intimate scenes quite well based on his past shows, yet the kisses in ACTL were off.
2. Music videos - For LBC and UWMA, we get music videos for all songs. Even different versions of the same song got their own MVs. Remember Luckiest Boy from UWMA? All three versions had their own MVs. So far, ACTL only has two MVs from songs that were barely used in the series - all of which are uploaded in Millenial's Choice Youtube channel. EDIT: There's also Hope by Dew Arunpong and Boy Sompob but not the MV you'd typically expect.
3. Characters - Some characters didn't make an impact to the story and were there to... just be there. Also, P'New's other shows featured tons of guests/cameos and references spread across his series (i.e. Reminders, UWMA, MGYG) but not much here.
4. Trailer and shooting - Past Studio Wabi Sabi trailers always felt complete. Yet in ACTL, shooting wasn't even finished when the series started, and this inadequacy showed in the trailer so much. Some scenes that were not done were Can's scenes in Tin's house, Hin scenes, Ae and Tum meetup, and beach scene.

I wonder how much control they had? P'New doesn't "acknowledge" ACTL in his twitter profile, yet we see UWMA and Between Us indicated and as separate entities which we know are part of the same show.

Episode 11 was good and almost 50 minutes. The conversation between Tin and his dad was nice and I liked the TinCan…
I loved it! Was surprised with Mai too. I miss Bow~

I see so many people complaining, but I actually am enjoying the reboot of TinCan. They seem much better suited…
Same! In season 1, Tin responded to Can's apprehension by being rude and leaving him behind which to me is just excessive and self-centered. If you really like someone to the point of wanting him to be your boyfriend, you'd understand him in his confusion and give him time instead.

This season's Tin has an adorable sweet side behind his coldness. I really appreciate the dynamics and growth of their relationship this season.

I see rating up a bit after ep. 7. Found many good comments too. Should I just watch start from ep. 7? Haha! I'm…
You can go directly to ep. 7 to jump straight to where TinCan's story left off from season 1, though this means skipping all the (small) progress of other characters. Otherwise, go ahead and watch the first 6 episodes. It brings a different charm to it albeit a remake which I really liked.

Ok..They couldnt get Ping, Good, Chiam back for season 2, but they frickin got Chpmpoo? WTF? Lol
If they can make Ae's mom and Chompoo suddenly appear, I'm hoping for the others to show up too. Besides, the director seems to insert guest appearances based on his past shows.
