FL's styling is pretty but it looks like they're trying to make her look wayyy younger than ML (which i think she is based on the plot) but Wan Qing looks more like ML's age.

it's not like we're comparing the actresses. i think it's fine to say we like how some supporting characters are written more than other characters. it's not like there's only the main characters in the drama to appreciate.

my preference usually sway towards characters like wan qing - i like these types of female characters - gray but strong-willed. i think she's very realistic.

she really acts like a "young lady" but so far, i'm not (yet) annoyed. i'm finding her entertaining right now

i really like wan qing's character even more than jiang mu. she's kinda a bitch but i'm here for it hahahhahahhahahhaha

agree, she's quite naive tbh. she's not bad but a bit of a hypocrite. i find she might be a capable coroner or even medical practitioner but, she tends to act stupidly. like why tf does she butt into everyone's business? doesn't she have her own business to take care of? girl you're supposed to look into your father's case but you go around lurking into everyone else's cases. she acts on her own then the ML saves her. it's kinda frustrating. istg if ML wasn't there, she'd never even be able to touch her father's case, she's be dead with all of her fam

EXACTLY!! that's what frustrated me too and I get flack for wanting an "OP" FL when i just wanted her to be able to save herself bc clearly she can. She can fight as well as the ML but for some reason, every time she gets in trouble, she has to be saved by the ML

this drama already has an unrealistic plot to begin with so idk what you're on.

maybe you're thinking i want the FL to be strong to the point that she can take on all the bad omens, but that's really not it. the drama paints her to be someone physically strong, with martial arts prowess (heck she even fought the ML) but everytime she gets in trouble, she always has to be saved by the ML. I just hope she was strong enough to figure out how to save herself instead of the ML always arriving at the scene

for me, yes, the jump scare parts are quite scary. but not really in a horror / ghostly way but more in a suspense-creepy way, if that makes sense. there's not a lot of them, but they are quite scattered. just be aware.

the drama itself is not scary or horror-ish. it's more like mystery
