had this ep on x2 speed π why pretend like they giving us a "real friend" jackdean ending if in the time skip they clearly haven't talked much since and then just end up together anyway. i don't want dean with jack; jack sucks πππ
pff bambi being more worried about prim's reaction to the real reason for the car accident instead of her current girlfriend literally being dead is crazy
If Tua thought Dean was a disgusting person, he would never let him live in his house rent free, go into his room…
im saying he clearly harbours that judgement subconsciously, willing to ignore it when dean isn't doing it anything bad in the moment but throwing it in his face the moment he does something to piss him off. i'm not saying he's not right to be angry! it just felt... like there was too much of a gap with how underwhelmingly the video was dropped and how big of a reaction he had. i guess.
to me, tua has been presented as a pretty passive character so it was like... this is what you're immediately blowing up over? it feels like he has this underlying assumption that his friend is a giant slut who would obviously do anything to sleep with his boyfriend and this video gets shown to him that doesnt show anything happening!! confirms that subconscious judgement. if my friend couldn't trust me that much... i don't know how we could go back to being friends...
i don't know - i agree that these characters are more interesting than the season one characters though - s1 felt a bit more archetypal and flat. but maybe that's what made the drama more exciting haha
that photo was dropped so unceremoniously, no suspense leading up to it and tua just explodes. the random drop…
jack saying that it didn't matter that they didn't hook up/kiss - that it was bad that they were even hugging was crazy... a little power-trippy. idk i have so many thoughts but no words to say them, this whole sequence was just strange to me.

it feels like they're reheating mew's crash out nachos from season one but this happening over not even a kiss and tua not even getting to go crazy because boston of all people is telling him to tone it down makes this drama seem a little silly in comparison
that photo was dropped so unceremoniously, no suspense leading up to it and tua just explodes. the random drop made tua's reaction feel unjustified even tho it def looks to him like his slut friend got with his boyfriend after months of them telling him not to worry. i get his reaction... but what he said while he was blowing up at dean really sounds like it came from a deep place of thinking that hes a disgusting person for his past as a host and i have no idea how they could come back from that and be friends again.
wow ! imo, the second half of the anime is not that good but the changes they made here made it hit so much harder! especially light's dad's death scene. i really like how much hope the other cops had for light even in the end ):
yet another gmmtv drama that couldnt stick the landing
