I also want them to explore more her character. They need to show us more about the girls. Because Eun gyeol moved to Chung Ah`s place, we saw her backstory but I wish they give Eun Yoo the oportunity to meet her gradfather too.
The girls were in darker place than the boys. Chung ah started to learn the sign languages and became happier. She was like a wild animal. I was surprised to know that she was not allowed to express herself through sign language. She faced abuse.
Chung Ah grew up with the pressure to be the best and to be as successful as her mother. Se Kyeong had a complicated emotional life too and she lived vicariously through her daughter, and that made her daughter unhappy and depressed. Now Eun Yoo has a trauma.
I wish Eun Gyeol can save his father but if not, his parents are happy in the present. Maybe Chung ah can rekindle the relationship with her father and birth mother but they are happy.
The time travel is a gift for both Eun Gyeol and Eun Yoo, to start enjoy their life, to live their life for themselves and not only for others.

I really like her. I like her personality more than her mother Se Kyeong. I hope she overcome depression. I hope she will learn to enjoy life.

The people who watched Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 knows that she was indeed Ryun Hong Joo we know. She is really badass. She even used the words in the cameo "I`m the crazy bitch in this field" (she said something similar in TOTNT) "I`m not longer human from now on" (she was not a human in the fantasy drama).
I did not watch Penthouse either but I know the references. They used the same music, a similar Cheon Seo Jin`s feather outfit, even the joke of vineyard (in Penthouse Yoon Jong Hoon`s character was the son of a vineyard).
Kim Soon Ok chose very well this cameo. I might not like or watch her dramas but I admit that she knows how to stir up the audience.

Why not? The writer Kim Soon Ok implied that she is but she could also say she was not. It was smart from her to use the same name. Kim So yeon looked and sound like Ryu Hong Joo but there were also Penthouse references. It was an interesting cameo.

Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 is the previous drama of Kim So Yeon where she played the character Ryu Hong Joo. In this cameo, it was hinted that she is that character. But she also could be a random actress of Cherry Ent if you did not make the connection but people who watched that fantasy drama know who is Ryu Hong Joo.

I read an article about So yeon`s cameo. Now I understand the joke about vineyard. Hong Joo told Yoon Jong Hoon`s character in` 7 Escape`: "You should at least sell that vineyard." That was another Penthouse`s reference because Ha Yun-cheol, played by Yoon-Jong hoon in 'Penthouse' was the son of a vineyard owner. LOL

Perhaps Han Woo Ri watched Kim Soon Ok`s drama too. LOL
I read from the comments on You Tube that Hong Joo talked about a vineyard in the cameo (to give her vineyard back or something). LOL
Hong Joo lived in a vineyard and we know that she can`t get drunk. Seo Jin drank so much wine in Penthouse. Another similarity. Did Seo jin had a vineyard too? I don`t know cause I did not watch everything.

I think it was a good cameo. Kim Soon Ok put hints of both characters. I enjoyed watching her. It was funny.

Knowing Kim Soon Ok, she will kill and then make return some of her characters. There are plenty of them. LOL

Because Hong Joo is an actress in 2023, it makes sense that she appeared with Yoon Jong Hoon (Yang Jin Mo) but It would have been perfect if Uhm Ki Joon would had appeared in a scene with her for a few seconds.

It is a perfect job for Hong Joo. In the present times, there are no need for mountain gods but she has to do something. And she is not pretending to be a diva. She is one. LOL.

I wonder if Kim Soon Ok watched Tale of The Nine Tailed 1938. She used Hong Joo very well.
Probably she asked the writer Han Woo Ri for the permission to use the same name.

Me too. I enjoy reading some of your comments here. I am not watching the drama but I was waiting for So yeon cameo. I am glad that I read your comment. I did not know what she said but I still had the feeling that she is Hong Joo, with her super power strenght. When I read your comment it became clear why Kim Soon Ok used the same name in this cameo.
I agree that It was a clever used of So yeon. It was a mixed of Hong Joo and Seo Jin. Like Hong Joo wearing the clothes of Seo jin (similar with her black dress with the feathers.) Both are not someone you want to mess with. LOL

I found it odd when I found out that she is named after her previous character. Now I know why. Good idea from Kim Soon Ok to make her appeared as Hong Joo, the character from TOTNT1938, without saying out loud who she is. But she is Hong Joo and she is alive in 2023. Good news.
