She is soooo bad at her job - impulsive, has to be the one to solve everything, been injured 3 times already and there is absolutely NO WAY she should even be on this case given her connection to the 2ML.. I know, I know - it's a drama - but come on! it at least has to be plausible. They think sticking her in combat boots makes her "tough" - just not buying it in the slightest. I gonna wait a bit more before making too many judgments on the romantic entanglements- beyond - girl - you broke up 5 yrs ago - why is this even an issue (beyond drama land stupidness). Could have bought it more had it been more recent - but 5 yrs!
Just finished this - while mostly enjoyable, good chemistry with leads after they stop being pissy with each other, one of the better kissing scenes - BUUUUT, so many plot holes! How is it that the 2ml can find Dr X in such a short mite when the ML has ben looking forever! What researcher doesn't have multiple backups of their data? You wouldn't just store in singularly on a laptop computer. NO WAY a lab researcher would be doing experiments in a dusty old apartment building - even the lab at the school was so wrong. She is basically doing pharmecutical/bio research, which is basically a wet lab - she had none of the proper equipment and she would most certainly be in some sort of 'clean' room - no safety gear, no ventilation systems, no special surfaces - it was all soooo wrong. The dragging out of her not telling who she was to ML made absolutely NO sense. The whole reasoning for her taking on the pharmaceutical company was VERY shallow. The naive intern with rose-colored glasses discovers this problem and decides she is gonna take on the world! Add in, she recognizes she doesnt have power (part of why she created Dr. X) - but then marries a powerful person and then REFUSES to ask for the help. So, in reality - it then becomes just about YOU wanting to solve the problem, more than solving the problem. I HATE this narrative. She finally moves off this - but, only because she was discovered and outed - otherwise, she wouldn't have done it on her own. And, can we PLEASE stop with these stories that talk about curing Alzheimers/dementia - like it's the flu or that it can even be cured. UGH! the whole story scenario bugged me - but the leads were good (mostly)

How many times can you run off in your revenge fury and fail - EVERY time apparently. Not sure why the ML liked her besides her looks - she lied to him at every turn - couldn't be trusted to stick to the plan and hold up her end - she ALWAYS screwed it up, ran off and did what she wanted - usually got caught and had to be rescued. And I was annoyed that there was NO accountability for it. I haven't wanted to hit a character so bad in a while. The set up for the character bothered me - here is a woman who has been living in a cage in a cave her whole life - yet, she is perfectly manicured, coifed and in pristine clothes (white no less) when we first meet her. She has had real no interaction with other people (besides her sister), yet, seems to know how to seduce men. Make it make sense! This was just a hot mess all around so many, too many things that just made me want to throw things (mostly at the FL)- and dont even get me started on the ending - absolutely ridiculous plot twist that made no sense - some poor writer really had to work hard to 1. even come up with that and 2. make it even work.

I was like, girl - so much of this mess is your own doing. Her miopic obsession about money got old quick and she just kept repeating the same mistakes. With the rest of you - so over the forced kissing - just needs to stop and is not romantic in the slightest. The only schtick that kinda worked was the husband constantly getting beat up - he so deserved it!

And even that, the ML has to instruct on how to actually seduce a man. We got a ML who falls in love with said assassin/seductress who happens to be spittin' image of his mom (eeew, gross!) Got a 2ml who is in-love with the ML's mother (ok, gross and not really sure how THAT works!) The usual cray-cray/horrible dad emperor The usual raging/blind revenge story where the main character doesnt have all the facts (mostly based on assumptions) - but I remember a smell! - so, as soon as I find the person who smells like that - they HAVE to be the one - only to get it wrong, TWICE (seriously, one of the more ridiculously stupid scenarios I have watched). And, even though I have been trained as an assassin, I am gonna run around and make impulsive decisions all over the place that dont work out and I have to bailed out in some manner. 🤦♀️
I would say I liked this more than I disliked it an, overall, I enjoyed watching it. But a few things just didnt work for me. 1. The 1st body-swap went on way, way too long and didnt really move the story forward too much for how much time they spent on it. It becomes more interesting once they figure out how to use. Wish they had spent more time with it this way, instead of the dragging out of the first swap. 2. The U Hui character was just weird - she starts off pretty evil (the whole killing rampage thing just makes her kind if unredeemable) - they they go and try and redeem her - but it just doesnt work. I had a hard time watching her - no facial expression, not sure if it was a filtering issue or something else - but just a weird plastic face that showed no emotions anywhere. It's like they had this character and they weren't sure what to do with her. Either make her go all bad and go after her dad and be ambitious or dont - but they tried to thread the needle and it just doesnt work and she just becomes a pretty unlikeable character that we wish the Grand Prince would run far, far away from. 3. What was the point of the gun? They make a big deal out of it the beginning and then do nothing with it - another waisted post line. 4. Same goes for the whole shoot arrows in the rain - cool scene, but they do nothing with this. 5. Starts of pretty interesting and I liked the lead actors. but it drags down through the middle and the body-swap, picks back up after they swap back - but then the story just gets messy, cause now they are rushing through back stories and other things because they spent too much time on the body-swap part. 6. Have to say - a bit disappointed in the villains ending - kind of anti-climatic. All that being said - its totally worth a watch and the OST from Song SoHee is AMAZING!

I was just thinking that as I was was watching and conetmplating dropping! It also bugged me from the get-go of her reborn era - she wasn't that smart in her previous life and somehow she becomes this master strategist once reborn - just didnt fit. And then she keeps making bad moves. ugh!
If you enjoy super-slow (like molasses), slice-of-life dramas - you might enjoy this. If not, I wouldn't recommend you watch this - you will be incredibly frustrated. For a drama that was promoted as a coming-of-age romance - there is practically no romance until the VERY end. This is basically watching a bunch of friends in a small town go through their senior year in high-school, throw in some family melo-drama, rush an adult get-together in the last two episodes and there you have it. Now, sometimes a slice-of-life can be interesting - but this just got so repetitive after a while and loses steam. FL was overly wise of her age (like, too much), ML is pretty typical green light guy, but tsundere and it's the FL who pull shim out of his shell - nothing new here. They do a somewhat good job of some emotional growth for the FL - she gets introduced as a raging, city-girl, rich girl brat and she does grow - but she never really loses that princess attitude. First reunion after separation was just weird and awkward - not sure what writers were going for there. And, ultimately the payout of waiting patiently for 28+ episodes for them to actually get together was kind of disappointing. it was rushed and just a slight sizzle (mostly because the FL needs to work on her kissing/intimate scenes skills - I have seen worse , but this wasn't that great).

I liked the all the actors - just felt the script didnt work Why introduce the FL as the Gil Dong thief - she's this amazing archery expert, can fight with a sword and, can apparently, break into anywhere and then they barely did anything with it - such a missed opportunity. The body-swap part didnt work for me - just NEVER felt like they actually swapped - neither actor made me feel they were the other one - didnt help that they kept switching back to original characters whenever they were alone and having convos - it made it so confusing.
