This isn’t a movie for everyone. If you are into themes exploring the darker parts of society, then this might be for you. Days later, I’m still recovering from how much this movie emotionally wrecked me. I’ve watched some happy stuff since, but this one is still with me.The story follows two characters, Ter and Som. Their characters only ever briefly pass by each other on the streets, but their lives end up intertwining in a heartbreakingly tragic way. Within the first part of the movie, you already get the feeling of where all the characters will end up, but you can’t help but stay for them and hope things would turn out differently. The image of the fish tank and the last scene are gonna haunt me for some time.
Bank, Sydney and Jomjam did amazing in their roles. They made me feel so much for their characters. Bank lost weight for his role. I thought he just lost weight, but he actually did it for this role. This is my first time seeing Sydney and Jomjam, and it takes skills to portrays their characters. They both nailed it. I hope to see them all collab on a project again, hopefully a more happier one, so I can move on from this one lol.
I actually don’t have any criticisms for this movie. It was well executed given the characters, storyline and themes. The only thing I may want is for it to be a series instead, so we could have gotten more into the characters of Mild, Som’s mom and Peach. But again, stories like this won’t appeal to everyone, so maybe it was a safer bet to go the movie route.

This was an ok watch. It being 18 eps long did end up working against it afterall in that there wasn't enough story arcs to drag it out that long. The longer a drama is, the higher the expectations is for the ending. And the ending was just alright for me. I like the ending between the couple but am a little unsatisfied w the ending for the bad guys after all the lives they destroyed.I love the main couple. They were very sweet. Rin was there for Thi from the very beginning & never gave up on him. I adore the brotherhood between Thi & Thot. How Thot is this rugged, cocky, intelligent & caring lawyer. I also like the cycle of kindness. Thot's father figure to him and then Thot to Thi. It was endearing given what they both went through. Also the other characters who stood by Thi & what was right.
The bad guys were a little weak for my taste. The villain is really just a spoiled manchild who is very rapey & likes throwing whoever gets in his way in jail. That was his tactic the entire story. Get in his way & he'll order people to frame the person somehow to get them in jail. I prefer villains who are intelligent and cunning, and this villan is neither. Nike did a phenomenal job in his role however.
If you like crime/thrillers, this is a pretty ok watch.

Emotionally, I just couldn't feel any connection with the story or characters. I got an hour in before dropping it. It's half the movie, so I feel like I gave it a fair shot.
If anyone feels like I do about the beginning of the movie and went on to finish it and it does pick up, please do let me know.

It does pick up towards about the last quarter when the betrayal happens. That was when I started binge watching 2 eps at a time whereas starting out, I put on 1 ep on the side while doing other things. So I can understand why people may not have stuck with this.
When I thought they already shared the backstories of the main characters, there’s actually more about two of them as the story progresses and it’s pretty messed up what happened to them.
I’m pretty satisfied with the end and worth the watch for me. I enjoyed the relationship between the main characters. How they found each other and were a source of strength to overcome what happened to them.
Only fault for me, and maybe it’s more of a preference thing, is that I didn’t like that the color scheme was dark and dull. It makes sense for the story, but it could be dark but also have more bold, sharp and vibrant colors like Ballerina and The Killing Vote.

The actor playing the villain is outstanding in his role. FL WILL really test your patience in the early episodes, but she does come around. Adored the story arc of the Panom Naka family with the mom, nurse and little bro.
Fight scenes are incredible. Love the CGI for the payanaks. Their crowns are a really nice touch. If you are afraid of snakes like I am, they were mostly in ep1, maybe ep2 too. They looked fake enough for me to get through those eps.
There are some really beautiful scenes that if there was an award for most beautiful scenes in a Thai drama, this drama should get a nomination.
As mentioned, the story and characters do have their flaws that regrettably took away from how amazing this drama could have been with more well thought out writing. Often times, you're probably going to be thinking to yourself why a character is this or that. Or why something is happening the way it is. After a while, I learned to let go and accept that things are the way they are for the convenience of the story lol. Understandable if some people drop the story because of it. But for me, it wasn't annoying enough for me to drop this and there were enough good parts for me to stay for the ride. And believe me, I've dropped plenty of dramas even with 1-2 eps left to finish.

Really promising story but just not enough balance between the love triangle and other important story elements sadly.
