There’s a difference between murder and what Kan did, at least in that it was done with the patients’ full consent. I mean, they were all sick and were going to die soon anyway, and euthanasia is just putting an end to their suffering. So I don’t think it’s a bad thing.
I don’t really have much to say about the couple, since the focus was more on the suspense, but you could still feel something between them—and there were even some cute moments, like 🤏🏻
I expected a bad ending almost from the very beginning, and that’s kind of how it turned out, though it really comes down to perception.
“I love you, Doc,” he says as he’s driving Kan away in handcuffs, and that was the end. I almost climbed up to the ceiling, to be honest.
It’s also listed under the “mystery” genre, and either I’m perceiving it differently or there isn’t any mystery there at all.
