I am only writing this view cause someone made a comment that basing on the reviews most people agree that this series was not good. Sorry to say that's not true- we are basically a bunch of lazy people who don't see the point of writing reviews if we already wrote in the comments section stating why we love this series. But here goes nothing!

UWMA is a beautiful story about reincarnation between Korn and In and Pharm and Dean. It was told in a way that had some of us (I really believe a lot of us) crying on a weekly basis. To met the person you lost through tragedy and your love is still as strong as it was thirty years ago...that's frickin amazing.

And yeah there were a lot of crying scenes as well as cooking scenes, but these scenes were needed to tell the love story that is Korn and In and Pharm and Dean. It integrated with the story. Pharm is crying cause of all the pass memories that he had as In with Korn. His lover literally kills himself in front of him. I know people found that annoying but how much of us have witnessed the suicide of a loved one in front of us? Would we not cry everytime that we think about them and what they did?

For the cooking- was it needed? Yes, it was as it intertwines the past life with the present. When Pharm cooks, he gets memories of his past life as his sister used to cook for him and make treats with him. There was a scene where Pharm ate the food that Dean's grandmother cooked and it brought back memories of In as it was In's favourite.

Now, I am not saying the series was perfect- it did have it's flaws. But then again, all BL series have flaws. It was different cause it did not tell the regular story of two boys in university/ high school who fell in love with each other and got an annoying third party who wants to break them up. It did tell the story of reincarnation of two souls who loved one another and found their way back to each other.

This story was clearly not for everyone, as we all have different taste. What people hated about this series, other people loved! The acting, the cooking and the music were the reasons why I stayed with this series. And I know that we didn't get enough of the side couples, but this story was about Korn and In and Pharm and Dean and people need to realize that. Also, this series was based on a novel and not based on the characters of a novel, which is why it stuck to what was in the novel. Two examples from American shows where it was based on the characters of a novel were Shadowhunters and Vampire Diaries. This meant that they took the characters but they did not follow the books that they came from to tell the story.
I thank P'New for making this breathtaking story and for carrying me on an emotional rollercoaster every Saturday. I thank the actors for all of their hardwork to bring these characters alive for us fans. I thank the crew for thier hardwork as well. This series would not be forgotten any time soon by me.

P.S. The grandmother deserves an award as she was a scene stealer when she was in a scene.
