i wanted to watch the anime version this april no matter what but i ended up procrastinating it and i realized that today was the last day of april already lol. so instead i watched this version. it was kinda boring but watchable. idk if i'll checkout the anime anytime sooner tho lol
rich kids bullying someone to death and at the end facing no consequences cuz they r 'humans' after all. the worst school-bullying shows ive ever watched lol. and by the end of the series, none of the bullies even regretted their actions then went on living a normal life like nothing ever happened. one sorry from rian and kangha forgave him. wow. absolute trash tbh.
idk if its just me but to me none of the plot twists were that shocking at all. i had seem most of them coming already. liked the first 3-4 episodes lot but idk it went kinda downhill to me afterwards. not a bad watch tho.
What was it? I got uncomfortable so many times looking at ML and second lead. Is something wrong with this story?and…
knowing that this was a "censored adaptation of same-sex original work" makes it more icky for me lol. idk abt the webtoon but it's prolly for the better that at least in the kdrama they removed the 44yo gangster's soul in a highschooler x 18 yo highschooler ship, tho there were still some scenes of theirs i found uncomfortable to look at lol

well in that case it'd be better to watch an explanation video (if u dont want to watch the drama which will ofc consume a lot of time). but i can at least explain for why the FL and the 2ML arent together. the simple answer will be that the FL loves the ML and the 2ML confessed to her js too late. FL loved the 2ML for who he was in the past (for being her pen-pal) rather than who he is in the present time (cuz the 2ML had made the ML lie abt him being her past friend) and the FL started developing feelings for the ML despite him not being her pen-pal. 2ML was js too late.

this is so true. kinda crazy of me to say this but ive liked dosan from the very first ep. i loved how this drama broke the usual kdrama cliche. FL usually choses the ML whom she had a childhood connection with, it's usually rich man x poor woman but it wasnt the case here. dosan here isnt portrayed as a bastard who is just too nonchalant to express his emotions like a normal human and hates everyone except for the girl he loves but instead like a person who doesnt know how to express emotions which felt relatable to me.
in next episode he would be leaving the group chat i think. its what the seek peek at the end of ep 4 suggests.
yep he is scared of being alone but if he cuts them off, he's gonna be way happier. tho some other members of the the 8 club will remain in despair cuz their punching bag is gone.
if the emotion watch were a real thing, i would definitely want them. there r a lot of emotions that i feel but dont know what they are called or how to express them or interpret them through words. ig the watch would be a big help to me in this case lol.
started up well but i found it hard to continue after ep 7. it felt as if it lost its original plot lol. i found myself constantly speeding up scenes. overall its not that bad but the last 2 eps were hardly bearable to finish.
the starting episodes were really good but i started losing interest from ep 3-4. the ending was alright to me. i thought it would be a hot mess as i constantly see people complaining about it but it wasnt that case, at least to me. wished they had gone deeper into doona's back story tho
