Happy to help! I have to check her channel out more... I am always interested when the actors talk about workshops and would love to get more info on that. I'm sure the information would be useful for romantic relationship or any relationships in general as well.
I agree that Mok's comment is misogynistic. However, I don't think that automatically makes the show misogynistic.…
Honestly, as a woman myself, Mok's comment felt completely fine. I mean, women are physically weaker. The potential threats to Thee will probably come from men. It makes sense that his bodyguard is best suited to protect him from these threats. It's not misogyny. It's getting the best person for the job. Why employ a petite woman when you can employ a giant man and increase the odds of successfully protecting Thee? Pure practical thinking, imho.
I did krav maga for a few years and still remember how the men there were way stronger than I was - they were the same height, same weight, or even lower than mine, same skills. They restrained their strength (they didn't want to hurt a woman), I didn't (I was struggling to match their restrained strength). If they wanted to take me down, they would. So I take no offense in what Mok said. If I ever needed a bodyguard, I would hire a man and a big one too. Anyhoo, I'm looking forward to the next episode to see how Mira will do. π

Not sure if mdl has issues with links and will remove the one I posted... In case they do, search for "Jessica Steinrock | Intimacy Coordinator" on youtube. The specific video was "Modesty garments! #intimacycoordinator #actor".
So is it actually Min in that nc scene or was it some other actor/stunt double(?), because technically the bunny…
I mean if he has no issues with a scene like that, I don't see why it couldn't be him. It really depends on the company's and actor's comfort levels. I guess we can try to compare bodies from this scene and others where Min is shirtless. π
Speaking of NC scenes, I recently saw a youtube short from an intimacy coordinator on how they handle privates and bariers between bodies in these types of nude scenes. Super interesting stuff!
I hope the 2nd episode has much better subtitles. I watched maybe half of the first episode and eventually gave up. π I hear that youtube has much better subs but that will probably be cut version, right?
Sounds look fine for me.. even NCs give us curiosity to watch more. They will probably goes with natural sound…
I know from watching some BTS (of a different series) that sometimes the director tells the actors when to do what so that probably gets picked up by the microphones and has to be covered by music... but here, there were natural sounds of breathing but they decided to drown it in music. It always irritates me. I don't really need anything explicit, but the natural sounds is what I like in these types of scenes. π But yeah, I hope you are right and it gets better as the story progresses.
Another NC scene with obnoxiously loud music. Would it kill them to turn the music down a LITTLE bit? I think natural-sounding breathing/moaning is one of the things that helps to sell it way better than any music ever could. Still, a great NC scene. Too bad it wasn't a bit longer, but I guess they have a lot of material to squeeze into 10 episodes.
I know, but it will never happen with PondPhuwin π
Oh, it's definitely PondPhuwin. My guess is Phuwin specifically. I vaguely remember seeing some interview or something like that quite a while ago where he said that he's not ready for anything explicit and just wants to do his thing and have time to grow up (but don't quote me on this!).
I know, but it will never happen with PondPhuwin π
Maybe in a few years when Phuwin is older and more comfortable with NC stuff. Or not, that's ok too. Though them being under GMM that is imho pretty tame and conservative, I doubt we will see anything more explicit even if PondPhuwin wants to. Then again, Only Friends were pretty wild considering so there's hope, I guess. π Anyway, right now I'm just happy they got out of school BL and act in something more mature-themed.
when did mdl become a place where you can't even criticize an actor's terrible performance without the entire…
Well, it's the internet, what did you expect? You are free to post whatever opinion you want (within limits defined by page Terms and/or the law in general) but you have to have a good helmet on. Either that or don't post. Unless you enjoy the drama, you do you; though I noticed people like to troll Karens extra hard.
Also, since JoongDunk is one of my favorite pairings, I am technically a part of the fanbase. I feel zero need to come after you. So maybe exaggerated phrases like "the entire fanbase" are one of the reasons why people come after you. Just food for thought. *shrug*
Just saying but they probably got more money for streaming it on Netflix. And money is one of the biggest indicator…
I think being on Netflix is a good thing for JoongDunk. I mean that's a pretty big platform with a decent reach and the recommendations for the series can pop up for a lot of people. Not sure if it will bring them more or less views (during airing and long term) compared to having it free on youtube... but my guess is it will.
I love Phuwin and Pond from Never Let Me Go, the plot was amazing.Iβve just finished three episodes of Me and…
I usually binge watch series after they air but I made an exception with The Heart Killers. I remember the rating was weird during airing (it was too low) and settled later. My guess is either MDL has bad algorithms that determine rating during airing or there are people intentionally manipulating it.
Anyway, keep in mind there are 3 ships involved in this (well I guess we'll see if we get WilliamEst) and I'd be surprised if the series had bad rating. Especially, if I understand it correctly, when GMM is big on the whole "engagement is super important and we can dissolve the pairing/not give them work if they don't deliver" so people will watch it and will probably give it higher rating than it actually deserves. I personally love the over-the-top acting and specific humor... but to each their own, it's definitely not for everyone.
kudos to the strong ones who are watching this as it's airing, and can wait a whole week for the next episode.…
I actually managed to binge We Are after it aired... I binge most series... but with JoongDunk and PondPhuwin, I have no self control, lol. It's actually nice to have something to look forward to every week.
I think cutting down to 10 (or even less) episodes will do GMM good. While I generally enjoy their series (I am not that hard to please and if I want something more dark/complex, I know I have to look elsewhere), their insistence on always having 12 episodes was starting to get irritating. I feel like some of their latest dramas just dragged too much and not in a good way. Star in My Mind had 8 episodes (excluding the 3 special episodes) and while it did have its issues, it certainly did not overstay its welcome. I felt the same with P10L, which has 24 eps in total but 8 per couple.
Despite giving it a lower rating (7/10) the first time I watched Star in My Mind, I actually love it so much.…
I just saw that ending of Ep 4 and thought finally some decently made NC scene. But that honey brought me severe anxiety! I mean, it's all fun and games until you need to clean all that mess up. π
