I watched the two parts in a one day, felt so miserable after heading to season 2. I felt confused at first but…
I agree about the English scenes. It was a bit too much. Like when Wooshik spoke English in Part 1, he was such a charming villain. Here it just feels unnecessary.

Special effects and action scenes were as cool as the first movie. Blood and gore levels were the same too. Plot wise I feel like there were too many side characters that got screen time when they could've used it to further develop the FL's character besides the fact that she's OP (like gayoon) and loves to eat. Hopefully part 3 will have a lot more answers.

FL tried to OD on pills but surived and so did the baby. Time skip into the future shows that the baby was adopted and given the name "Bo-ni" while the FL is about to sit for the civil service exam

Hmm...I think they should just keep it as is with JSM as the FL and show Go Yoon Jung for internal monologues. Unless part 2 is gonna be the origin story for the FL then that would make sense.

they couldn't have casted better leads for this drama! i love that the FL is basically an antiheroine but the ML really wants to take her as his master in order to learn alchemy. alchemy and transmigration aren't new to seasoned cdrama fans but i'm excited to see the kdrama spin on this genre.

that was a rough situation to be in. anger tends to make people not think things through rationally. in this case the MC's world literally turned upside down in the span of one day and she was given no heads up from her dad...that's why i think she reacted the way she did, with violence since she had no other way to defend herself. what a powerful performance from kim hye yoon though!

Yeah I think like Annick said, the punishment for suicide being hell has religious roots. I was also uncomfortable with the idea since the Risk Management team is saving these individuals who otherwise would not have been able to save themselves. These people needed that hand (the RM team) to reach out to them and pull them from the depths of despair.

Ngl I felt the same way. I mean they made good partners in taking down their mutual enemies but I didn't see any indication that they had any romantic interest in each other so the ending kiss was kind of a surprise to me.
