another suspense, mystery, and crime drama that is executed quite well.
honestly the plot is so unpredictable, the conflict is so well packed. at the start, the main topic was explained, so we no need to guessing. the pacing is pretty smooth, everything makes sense why siyuan could have DID—creating a new personality which is his older brother (he was a 10yo back then) as a form of self defense.
blows my mind, turns out the conflict that appeared also had a hand from liao zhibai, who wanted revenge for his family. like damn liao siyuan was trying to solve cases all this time, because he was "guided" by liao zhibai...
why is it when the script is good, the story telling is fine, but the ending is lacking?
even though the tension is there, but the real reason behind the murderer cases is just not satisfying enough, like so many lives lost just because qi meihua wanted to live freely, wanted to erase traces of the past... i still questioning a few reasons (or maybe i'm just overanalyzing lol)
yes, i went to this because wang ziqi, but as long as i follow the plot, they make me gasp through to screen. not only the main role, even the supporting role's acting is very excellent!!! they execution their characters very good, delivering their emotion perfectly, everyone has their own job so it feels even more intense
