Caught up on the last three weeks' episodes, so good to see our 大哥's return after being away filming. And episode 45, what a surprise and unforgettable welcome back the cast members and guests gave him. So touching and hilarious 'Tan Jianci finally succeeded'

Just waiting for 棣棣's return so we can have our entire 好6团 / 好6队 / H!6 family together again.

Yes! A return of CFY in a period drama (still waiting hopelessly for the release of Immortality).

I've also become such a huge fan of WYL after watching her as Feng Bao Bao in 'I am Nobody', hands-down one of the two best and fan-favourites in the drama (the other being Neo Hou's Wang Ye).

What a cast!

Someone tell me why he's still relegated to support and guest roles, and his 'main' roles aren't necessarily where he's the main lead. He was amazing in The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty. I even had to do a double-take that I have seen him in Ancient Detective, but his role as the enuch in SoMD made the show for me.

Oh no, Yu Zheng picked up QJJ? I'm not very hopeful about the release even if this was produced with the future of danmei dramas uncertain. But it would be so incredible if this does get picked up with an awesome cast for our two MLs.

If Tan Jianci, our favourite 大哥, is the ML, count me 100% in!

Not feeling the CPs, but I am totally shipping Gao Heng with Tang Yu (our lovely Da Wu and Jing Beiyuan from Word of Honor or novel counterparts from Faraway Wanderers and especially Lord Seventh), especially in episodes 12-13 (robe scene and cinema scene).

Can't help shipping Jin Wei's Gao Heng with Wei Zhe Ming's Tang Yu in 'I May Love You' after remembering they were Da Wu and Jing Beiyuan in Word of Honor (Lord Seventh is one of my favourite danmei novels).... the robe scene in episode 13!

Definitely going to keep an eye on Fan Jin Wei's future works now, just realized he was the blind prince in 'The Blood of Youth'!

Misunderstanding at the very beginning...but at least it paved the way for the master-servant contract. I can't wait until the other immortals find out that Gu Jin is Yuan Qi and for Hong Yi to meet A'Yin. We are still some time away before Yuan Qi finds out A'Yin was the one who helped him and not the Peacock Princess.

Our Xiao Ding didi deserves a ML role and would be great to see one where it's the anti-thesis of his real life sweet, cute and kind counterpart.

Chinese SARFT's censorship is so confusing! The fact that it forced the production team had to cut these scenes while Story of Kunning Palace had some of their more intense (and hugely anticipated) scenes pass regulations is bewildering.

He's a very versatile actor that have taken on non stereotypical leading roles. My Xu Kai fandom started with 'The Legend' and "Arsenal Military Academy' with him and Bai Lu.

It's rumored that Zhou Jun Wei was being censored (not sure if that's still the current situtation) for posting a blank piece of white paper in protest of the Chinese government during the pandemic protests. It was apparently one of the reasons why SoKP was pulled from airing originally in May, the other being that the production needed to make additional changes to pass censorship. Hence why he's been missing from the promotions.

she did have a few steamy kisses with Luo Yun Xi in Love is Sweet, but mostly sweet kisses, including air kisses.
