I want to know if FTY was this soft hearted in novel too cause It's hard to believe it's taken from a female centric…
i think shes smart enough to not deal with such people. she just wanted justice for herself without involving in further problems as she needed to build a proper future for herself first. i do think revenge would be good but shes not really in a proper position herself to plan out revenge, she decided to focus on her future instead, i think thats smart but a satisfying revenge would be nice as well.
the plot is very unique, this the first time i have seen an actual commoner ml whos also a fugitive. and the chemistry is sooo gooddd. i cant wait for the next episodes its been a while seeing a drama with a unique plot and so interesting usually the mls are always either a lost prince, generals son wtv but this is really good. the scene where shes in a bridal procession and the funeral thingy was soo gooodddd. anyways love this.
some people are annoyed with fl but i think what shes doing is right. the ml is a fugitive with multiple people always chasing him down, she kind of wanted to maybe repay the favor + to earn a place and name in court with a new identity cause women in the past cant to official things without their husband so she wanted to clear his and her name and i think being an official is way better than being a fugitive.

your right but the ML seems to compare and wants to compete with the FL , he feels insecure when with her which is very realistic and normal still it is not what friends do..
this drama is not as bad as people are saying it. xiweis acting is reallyy good and i like the sibling dynamic she and her bro have. finally a drama where the FL is smarter than the ML. i do think the character of the ML doesnt suit the actor, i think the ML character is supposed to be awkward but more friendly and good at socializing but the actor is not really doing the best job at that. i think his acting is getting better than before but ML doesnt suit him plus he looks old to be the highschool ML (i dont like pointing peoples looks, i meant he looks older and not like a highschool student) in his previous drama "love so beautiful" the ML character suited him but here it really doesnt.
im in ep 4 and IM SO FRICKIN PISSED OFF WHT THE HELL IS THAT BAI HUI GIRLS PROBLEM, she asked qi yan to join her team just so he can use whtever knowledge he took from the FL im so annoyed. i want the SML to be the ML im so done.. the ML acting is not the best eventho he helps the FL it still feels like he wants to compete with her, HOW FAKE.. i remember having friends as such and its giving me ptsd.. i feel so sad for the FL everyone is just straight up rude towards her and the ML might be her friend but its sure that he feels insecure when with her. atleast the SML is better, he respects her.
honestly, i was hesitant to start this drama because of the fml age. but after startng this drama im so glad that i did, because this drama is just so AMAZING. the story line is soo good and its so intense and interesting. surprisingly the ml and fml chemistry is soo good that i was so shocked. Aimi's acting is so good, she is surely going to get really famous.
i have to say that this drama is better than the ongoing meng ziyis drama despite me being such a big fan of her and was waiting for BOP for soo long, however aimis drama is so much better.
for the people who are confused about the whole family dynamic. let me explain, the ml IS NOT MARRIED, he calls fml as his secondary consort because he was planning on keeping her temporarily only. the other two women with him are not married to him yet but are only given the position of "crown princess" and "primary consort" for the time being. the child is not his biological child , he kept the child in his estate for the childs safety (i dont want to give more spoilers) and these two women are very supportive and are not in love with the ml lol.
I HOPE EVERYONE CAN GIVE THIS DRAMA A CHANCE CAUSE ITS SOO GOOD AND NOT DISAPPOINTING. IM STILL AT EP 7. BUT ITS REALLY GOOD.
