Or maybe she does know but is choosing to pretend she doesn't? There might be all sort of reasons for that, some admirable (she values their friendship), some not that i've seen play out in real life, But I can't imagine a kdrama going there.

The premise seems fun. Does anyone know if it's a fictionalised account of a real queen from Joseon or an entirely fictional character?

Love the premise and she's one of my favourite kdrama actors.

I can barely make sense of the synopsis, but the cast is stellar.

He was very good.

I really liked this (more than most people, it seems) but I think the romances didn't add much value (except that Mi Jo's allowed her to adopt that adorable wee boy).

Hah! I recognised him but couldn't place him . . . went looking in the cast list before I was able to make the connection. Maybe it was an inside joke?

She was fairly flat (lots of drooling and staring) in Nevertheless but decent in My Name so I hope for more of the latter.

Maybe you chose bad examples. None of those are "professional critics working for reputable news media" for example. And I note the absence of links. But, also, "South Korean star Lee Minho fits the role of a dangerous but alluring gangster as perfectly as the pristine white suit fits his tall, lean physique" isn't praise for his acting, just for his looks. And I know a lot of people think he looks good. But acting? I've yet to see him where he's anything other than bland and wooden.

UK is getting it in real time, too.

Acting is all about expression and I find him a very bland and wooden actor. I don't feel the need to justify this, just like I wouldn't need to justify not wanting to employer a plumber who couldn't fix leaks.

Why would you pair a really, really expressive actor with a really, really wooden one?

1. The sheer length, without the plot or characterisation to justify it.
2. The creepy, forced intimacy portrayed as 'romance'; and
3. The terrible dubbing.

Brilliant heist film. I love how, with a different perspective, what you think is happening in each segment is revealed to be not-what-you-expected in the next. In one sense it reminds me of Nine Queens (different plot, same conceit).

I hope someone has told Lee Sung Kyung that duckface is considered pretty naff these days.

It's a list of dramas that people consider bad, despite their popularity. I think you might have misread the question.

I think he loves the child (as you would, if you were not a sociopath) despite not being the bio dad.

I don't disagree than a affair can ruin a marriage. But being a bad/good parent is unrelated. I don't know why I have to labour this point.
